well, i'm outta here... just time to remind everyone that the world still turns... this sunday i'll be at gerland, don't know where since i've been invited, and w/o junior (school night).
my guess is that OL is going to take out a lot of frustration on those poor ch'ti's... they'll be strewn around the four corners of gerland, like a jigsaw puzzle with some pieces gone!

j'm'en vais lui faire une ordonnance, et une sévère, j'vais lui montrer qui c'est l'OL. Au 4 coins d'Gerland qu'on va l'retrouver éparpillé par petits bouts façon puzzle... Moi quand on m'en fait trop j'correctionne plus, j'dynamite... j'disperse... et j'ventile...

OH Yes its still turning. And the sun still smiles on the Gerland as far as I'm concerned. That's why I think we will come out of the gates hard and push for a victory. In very good league form, won the last four matches, and Lille has only won one game this year. Barring any mental breakdowns from what happened midweek, i see 3 nil les gones. At least thats what i predicted in the fantasy game.

I love it when Lyon play Lille. Both teams play good football and are pretty fun to watch.
I wonder what tactics Perrin will be using this time. I'd love to see the Metz lineup.

this could be disasterous if Lyon lose today.
unfortunately the level of play has dropped since Lille scored...confidence problems??

Lille is playing a really good match. They are man marking all the important players. Anytime Juni moves up, two Lille players close him down. I think Lyon losing is a strong possibility.

The Setanta broadcasters are in love with Benzema and Toulalan. You'd think Lyon had no other players.

according to Eurosport Govou is playing left wing. i think Perrin needs to put in Ben Arfa at the half. Benzema was coming close earlier on but now things arent going well. The dynamic duo that lit up Metz needs to be put into action!

That was a hell of a shot by Bastos. I gets my vote for goal of the week. No chance for the keeper what so ever. Lille is defintely playing well enough to win right now and they are really stifling any creativity from the midfield. Juni is doing nothing out there. Most of the better chances are coming from out wide.

Lyon need to figure out to solve their midfield problem. Lille have one of the best midfields in France and are good at congesting Lyon's. Juninho is getting really frustrated and got warned for tackling Makoun twice.
I can't believe that Lille have been doing so poorly this season. Either we are playing like an L2 team or Lille just considerably upped their level.

i sense more goals. the team seems to be getting back into a rhythm. Bodmer and Keita seem to be playing well.

Unfortunately Toulalan's totally unecessary yellow card means he's going to be suspended for the next match against Lens.

just caught the goal in the main thread area where someone posted the goals and highlights so far. very impressive play by Govou, he's really elevated his game this season. i still want Ben Arfa to come on though. ;)
edit: Ben Arfa on for Keita. :)
The commentators are saying that Keita played one of his best games so far this season, but still could be more intelligent with his choices.
