Battlestar Galactica - Best show on TV
Star Trek (all of them) - What can I say? I grew up in a Trek house...
The Soup - Hilarious, making fun of all the crap on TV
Nip/Tuck - Like a soap opera on steroids, kinda stupid but its good.
Rescue Me - great show, love Dennis Leary
The Office - HILARIOUS
Mad Men - In the middle of season 1, love what I'm seeing so far
Breaking Bad - Can't wait for season 2
Friday Night Lights - Growing up in Texas helps me appreciate it
ER - Unlike most, I didn't start watching it until Fall 2006, but its good.
Family Guy - brilliant
Simpsons - getting old but the 90's episodes are good
Lost - They've ruined the show, but it use to be good.
Seinfeld - classic
That 70's show - good
Robot Chicken - Either really funny or total crap

I agree with you on Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me.

I have heard Mad Men was good, but I haven't got a chance to watch it.

Thumbs up on Friday Night Lights.

ER used to be way better.

For me, Family Guy is starting to hit the burnout that the Simpsons did for many people. There haven't been many new episodes the last year. I still watch it, but I have other favorite shows that are ahead of it. For me, South Park is still miles ahead of any other cartoon comedy show.

That 70s Show, on the other hand, I can watch repeatedly for some reason. Didn't like when Eric Foreman left, mainly because all the characters are better when he is around.

Same thoughts on Robot Chicken.

Now there's a show- did you watch the episode where they went across the southern states of the US through the redneck areas! :DThat was fun!
I watched their 'winter olympics' last night. Funny as all all git out.

I have become addicted to the streaming websites or whatever they are known as where you can watch TV shows for free on them.

I have watched all of the seasons of Deadwood and Weeds.

Right now I am working on the different seasons of Entourage and Dexter.

I still have to get to Rome, Flight of the Conchords, and maybe a couple of others.

Also...

I am a huge fan of Demetri Martin's comedy, and I have to say I really like his new show on Comedy Central. I usually hate almost anything and everything that MTV shows for TV programming, but I find myself watching their Sunday lineup of Fantasy Factory, College Humor Show, and Nitro Circus.

I love my DVR. Without it, I don't honestly know what I would do. :o

It's almost embarrassing how I am without a DVR.

My friends say they have seen me try and fast forward through commercials with a non-DVR remote...:o

Doh!

I blame my parents, they got me addicted, and now I am draining money out of myself to have it while I am away at school.

Even worse, they got rid of it at home. I swear I start to get cold sweats when I go home for the weekend.

Well whats worse is that in my apartment, I have home theater heaven. 5.1 (soon to be 7.1) surround, 1080p HDTV, dual tuner HDDVR, Dish with all the channels, blu ray player. Then I go to my girlfriend's place in Denton to stay during the week while at school and I get to watch live tv on a postage stamp set with crappy cable. Plus, she likes watching all the shows I hate, like MTV or Real Housewives. I miss my DVR :(

I am very angry that Direct TV decided not to continue carrying Versus! Atleast there is alot of time to resolve this before the next Tour de France! There really is nothing like voices of Phil Liggett, Paul Sherwin, Bob Roll, and Al Trautwigg when there is nothing footy related going on in the silly season!

I'm a late discoverer of 101. They have some decent shows on there. Couple I like are Smith and Deadwood (Ian McShane from Lovejoy). I've seen Dexter there as well, must be re-runs.
