Predictions? thoughts? analysis?
got my ticket :)
I think we shuold win, but it all depends on bianchi starting as Mpenza is obviously not good or interested enough now he has a new contract.
So a shaky 2-1 win for City.
Hopefully Bianchi starts.
So skillfull.
Fully expecting a 2-0 or 3-0/3-1 result.
Should win comfortably. But that's when we lose :S

We should have no problems, in my opinion, winning this game. I am going to say 2 - Nil final in favor of City. We should have no problems scoring on Fulhams backline.

1-0 to the Blues. Petrov finally bags one. We'll still have trouble breaking through on the scoresheet, but our defense will continue to stand resolute, as well.

Looking forward to this one. Going to a bar here in Boston with a Fulham fan, so it'll be him versus like four MCFC fans in a bar filled with Liverpool schmucks.

The bar will be buzzing! Hope we put this one to bed early - for all our sakes. This quote from Sven on mcfc.co.uk doesn't fill me with confidence: “We’ll try to win, but first of all playing away in the Premier League is always difficult,” Sven says. “It shouldn’t be because the pitch is always more or less the same but for some reason it is like that.
Fulham have a good team, I think they have been a bit unlucky, they should have had all three points last week. I’m expecting a very difficult game on Saturday."
end quote
The Liverpudlians look set win the match if their bigsoccer forum is anything to go by. But from our perspective, I hope the Brummies win. :)
Come on you Blues

I would pick this team
----------------Hart-------------------
--Richards---Corluka---Dunne--Garrido--
--Geovanni--Hamann--Johnson--Petrov--
---------Elano----Bianchi---------------
Why Hart in goals Alan ??

Confidence is HIGH!! I'm very positive with this match up. I'd be disapointed with a loss, but a win in this situation would speak volumes if indeed we are gonna make a run at Europe. I think Newcastle losing to Darby was a key result. I'm strong believer in gauging your team's success early on, is related to not only beating teams but having the teams you beat win games (aside from scum). Basically what I'm saying is that if west ham and Villa and Darby (and hopefully fulham) can beat solid teams, I can't help but have european aspirations. PERHAPS we are not only in the upper half but, maybe, the upper half of the Upper Half!

Why Hart in goals Alan ??
Cos Kasper flaps at corners and crosses, just like what he did now when he conceded a goal! We need Isaksson back. Why is Mpenza upfront instead of Bianchi??? Sort it out Sven

We're worse than poor right now, we're getting ripped to pieces and we arent going to even get a point if the defence dont sort themselves out.

3-2 to City now, Petrov looks to be doing fantastic this game.

Whoa... scoring 3 and conceding 3.... that's not so common with City these days.

My heart rate is nearly back to normal, blood pressure is still high - I need a drink. I feared the match would go something like this, at least we have a point, but can't help feeling we lost two. Our team played well again, the goals were top class. Petrovo was enjoying himself! :D
I'm a great fan of Richard Dunne's, however, he gave away the free kick that Fulham scored from. Then he seemed to have gone into dreamland for their third goal.
I agree with Alan_D in his Aston Villa post about giving Schmeichel a rest whilst he was on a high. He's shaky on crosses, as the match with Villa showed and today's. We should've put Hart or Isaksson in goal. Now if Sven changes the keeper, Schmeichel could have a dip in confidence, and I'm sure he'll be putting some of the blame for the goals on himself.
Fantastic away support again, Blue Moon ringing out load and clear - my thanks to all the away fans for making the journey.
Liverpool have more to worry about than us! What a poor game, good result for us. The match tomorrow will be interesting!!
Come on you Blues
Seems like Goals were the order of the day.
Anyone got a link to highlights/goals (i seem to be saying this every week)
To come back from being behind twice, and snatch the lead was a good acheivement. Should of really won, But the team played poor so maybe shouldn't of deserved it (just from the comments i'm reading)

Richards and Dunne had their worst performance of the season. Dunne was terrible and he cost us 3 points but hes saved us more than enough on other occasions so he is forgiven. Dunne is incredible on his day but hes been very dodgy these last few games so he better sort it out soon. Corluka at centreback looks a better option than Richards at the moment. No doubt Richards will be a CB in the future but hes very raw and is starting to make a few mistakes and at RB he can use his attacking skills more down the right. Geovanni deserves to start at RM instead of Ireland, who looked as if he was completely disinterested. I'd love us to swoop for Srna at Shatkahr Donetsk, a fantastic winger and one heck of a right foot. I was disappointed Bianchi didnt start but fair play to Mpenza he got his goal although I still prefer Bianchi. Kasper looks more vulnerable the more matches he is playing and I think its probably doing the confidence of both him and the back four harm. Isaksson is injured (again) I believe but he will be back in training tomorrow so I hope he will be fit for Saturday's game against Newcastle. Hart should be ahead of Kasper otherwise or he should be given a chance at least. Im glad Petrov has gotten off the mark and that should give him confidence, Elano looks class once again but I hope he didnt go off injured last night cos that will be a massive massive blow to us.
A draw against Fulham away is a decent result, they're a much better team than what people credit them for. But our usually solid defence cost us badly
today and they highlighted again that we cant expect too much from the team. They are very young and prone to mistakes, but I just hope Dunne gets his act together cos the last few games have been very disappointing for him.

Ireland was very poor. His jogging while Bouatza sprinted past him in the midfield was the number one cause of that first goal. Initially I was amazed at how easy it was for them to get deep into our half. Then after further viewing I see a sluggish Ireland get killed in a 40 yard dash with Bouatza who literally ran goal to goal. If he was contributing to the offense I could almost understand this lack of pace but he was invisible. We should give Geo a run at it. I don't know what Ireland said on his web page but if what I heard is correct, he's telling the F*ckin truth.
