Would be a big earlier win for Hornets. Bit of a calling card that they are serious this year (to other clubs)- Cardiff away by no means and easy win.

After 6 games, Watford is 5-0-1 and is leading with 15 points.

What's interesting is that many of the expected contenders are currently stuck in mid-table or lower. Watford hasn't sold anyone after getting demoted and a good start can keep them in the promotion spot throughout.

Didn't they sell Bouazza (IMO has looked poor for Fulham)?

Regardless, let's hope DeMerit can get back up next year and Watford actually buy some attacking players.

They really missed Marlon King last season (knee injury) and, with Darius Henderson's probably not being a Prem quality striker, their scoring was rather sad.

But Henderson (big target forward) and King (big mobile forward) seem to be working well together on this level.

They also have excellent Coca Cola level striker depth with Tamas Priskin, Nathan Ellington and Steve Kabba.
