I think he will get the start at LM. Lee McCollough out suspended, Bazza hobbled and Wattie not going to through the we'an Naismith into the mixer yet. He wants CL experience in there. Just hope Beas goes all out and shows his stuff. They're going to need him tonight!

But is Bease on the pine tonight?

Two different unofficial sources say Beas on the bench. Charlie Adam starting at LM. This is shocking, hopefully not true. Adam hasn't started since Zeta.

Bease hope to Gers to match PSV run.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Bease on the bench. He (and a few other Gers) have played a lot of games lately. Smith may try freshest legs.
Stuttgart off to a seesaw start: 5-1-4 in their last 10. although they spanked Cottbus 3-0 this weekend.

This is a juge match for Rangers... nothing but 3 points will do from this game... or else there's not much hope... hopefully they fare better than Celtic do yesterday

He's been in such good form for Rangers recently, anyone know why he fails to make the starting XI here?

Beasley on the bench is probably just a case of squad rotation. I'm sure he'll see the field at some point in this game.
Game on btw. You can watch at http://myp2p.eu/Matches/Match1.htm The SAT 1 link works.

Hmm... that one won't work for me. The one at http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/wed19.9/Rangers_Stuttgart2.html works, though... but pretty poor quality... and it's in German.

Stuttgart very fast and technical. Walter Smith is probably looking to muscle them off the ball SPL style as he knows they would not out-football them. Adam is a big fella whose good in set-plays. Gers tactics are going to be a holding midfield and hopeful free kick situations just outside the box. Maybe wear them down and bring in some fresh pace in the second half.

Works for me - although my commodore 64 makes it look more like a bunch of grown men playing freeze tag than an actual soccer game.

Has the importance of winning this match registered on the coach's brainpan yet?
0-0 @ HT per my ticker.
Who's watching the match? Any comments on the first half?

Heh, the German commentators were talking about the bench players and I could hear "Beasley" and "schnellmann" in the same sentence. :D

I'm watching off and on .
Gomez just scored for Stuttgart.
Rangers had just gone down to 10 men just seconds prior to the goal when Ferguson was taken to the side to get stitches on his head.
