Besiktas fans are good and very noisy but I'd have to say the best is between Lazio, Inter and Roma but I'd go for Lazio, our fans are unreal! Full of pride and passion and the Irriducibili know how to put on a good display! Ya dont get atmosphere like in the Curva Nord anywhere else

parkhead full of 60,000 celtic fans on champions league nights is a fantastic occasion which is on a par with anything else in europe that i've seen with my own two eyes. now i admit i haven't been everywhere else in europe but this is hard to beat...

it's easy for me to say it but you really have to be there and sample it for yourself. i love champions league nights at parkhead.

also, going away to watch celtic in europe is extra special. regardless of our abysmal away record in europe we still take thousands to away matches. witness 10,000 of us at the san siro against milan last season. a great trip and i have to say the milan ultras and fans were excellent as well. a brilliant atmosphere that started about 90 minutes before kick off...

In most British stadiums you can here good chants and also
classical songs sung by the whole stadium, while especially
in some Southern Europe you have a fanatic support, that
use bangalos and creative this way a great atmosphere.
In French stadiums you can hear people piping melodies,
every country and sometimes every club has something unique.*

yep.

as you point out borussia this is the lower deck and i was in the upper deck as that was the actual celtic tickets.

all the other sections were bought in banks in milan on the days before the match.

celtic fans were in the 2 main stands either side in the corners next to the main celtic end as well.

I spent a European night at Anfield and the away supporters outsung the scousers.

The "there is nothing like an European night at Anfield" cliche might've had some truth to it 5, 10, 20 years ago. But now with Liverpool in the CL every season and the competition being so watered down that progression to the second-round is inevitable, I think the fans are somewhat subdued on European nights now. At least until the knockout phase of the Champions League.
