Sorry, mods - but posting cries for help here is all the rage...
I'm doing a story on soccer that will involve some talk about adult rec leagues in Montgomery County. If anyone out there lives in the county and plays in any local leagues, whether it's MoCo rec, WISL, Capital Coed or whatever else, please email me at rspuhler@gazette.net.
Thanks!

If I understand those question marks correctly ...
Local rec league stuff has usually been considered on topic here so long as it's posted in moderation.

i wish i had more to say about the montgomery county league i was in but...all i can say is that i spent way too many saturday mornings getting bad news from the inclement weather line...we played 4 out of 9 games this past spring...also they did a terrible job keeping up with the overflowing grass

There are a lot of non-league rec players, like me, who play weekly games with the same group. In case you're interested in that...

Thanks to Knave for leaving this open. Lock or delete at your discretion, sir.
Uniteo: That actually would have been cool, but the overall feature this was a part of was supposed to be 60 column inches, and ended up weighing in at 72, so I'm in enough trouble already. Thanks anyway, though.
Scruggs45: Yeah, this spring was rough. I got out of MoCo rec because of the co-ed "2 points for a female goal" rule, but I'd imagine the fields couldn't have been in good shape.
The story has been filed, thanks to those who helped.

yeah the 2 points for a female goal rule is pretty lame
