How well does your sports memory work?
Level I - I can't remember the score from the Everton match last weekend. These fans have probably smoked too much weed.
Level II - I definitely remember O'shea doing the dippers at Anfield last year, but don't recall how we did against Spurs. You probably can't recall many of the lineups or scores from the other games of the past few years. If you can only remember the score from the big results of the past few years, then this is your level.
Level III - I'm still mad we dropped two points away to Bolton back in '04. You can also remember the lineup from that match and who scored, as well as other key moments from the game.
Level IV - Oh that one great pass in the 67' in the game from 1997 that didn't lead to a goal but was still a great pass, yeah I remember it. These fans can tell you the score, lineups, and scorers from most games in the past 10-20 years.
Level V - The TomClare level of memory. I would expect most posters here haven't lived long enough to test this one out. These fans can name the starting lineup, scorers, and exact game situations from 60 years ago!

I can remember selective things from previous seasons, but most of it is a blur.

Les ********ing Ferdinand.
Edit: Put level III but in reality it would be somewhere in between II and III. Can remember the score from that game as well as many others like it, (not just the big ones), can remember who scored and picture the goals but line-ups? Nah.

I'd have to say I'm a level II.
I would also like to ask some of those who can remember a lot...does it come naturally or do you end up watching the games a couple of times so the memory sets in?

I'd say I'm level three. For example I still remember that awful game we had at home against Wimbledon from 8 years ago.

It wasn't that bad, considering we were up 15 points on our opponents at the time, and won the league by 18 points.
Or you mean a game against them during our Treble season?

I remember Eddie Pope's GW goal in 1996 for DC United. I was 14 then, so I figure benni and Invin were about that age in 1999/2000

I would be between level II and level III. I do remember almost everything from the last few seasons but going back 4-5 years+, things start becoming a blur.

I'd say between level 2 and 3 as well. Some games stick out more than others - and I'm definitely leve 3 when it comes to the games of the treble season. I started supporting in 96, but there was a dry spell when I got no football in 2000-2002 - I just rewatched the Treble tape till I could almost recite it.

Atleast you did manage to remember him. I had to reveal the answer to see who was the 7-letter guy playing on left side of our midfield.:o
