Shyte week if you ask me. Sure Dempsey, Beasley, and Boca performed well, but it's sad to see Adu, Szetela, Spector, and the other young players not get any minutes.

Patience, butterfly.
Patience is a virtue.
Our patience will achieve more than our force.
Patience wears away stones.
Patience is the key to paradise.
Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
Everything comes to him who waits.
Patience is the companion of wisdom.
The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.

Screw it. Bring them home, now!

Speaking of wrap ups - or is it wraps up? - US Soccer has a relatively new "YA" feature ...

Yesterday's entry featured Beasley, Bradley and Dempsey, who - coincidentally? - scored goals this weekend.

A shyte week is not one where 'veen finally win, Jr. score, Bease scores (although Gers losing sux), Wolff, Berhalter, Dolo, Demps (scores), Boca and Brad pick up points. Even Pearce, Heider and Zimmerman go 90 and Benny gets a few minutes as well. Ok, Adu is sitting and the world is over, but if anyone thinks this was really a bad week for YAs - well, I hate to see what will happen when we really have a bad week.

We had this team on the field this week:

Brad-Dolo - Boca - Gooch (tied also, top of table) - Pearce-Wolff-Benny - Bradley - Beasely -Zimmerman - Dempsey

All but Bease and Pearce got points. All but Benny went 90.

That's
3 EPL starters - 1 goal
1 EPL sub
2 B1 starters
2 B2 top of table starters
1 Ered starter - 1 goal
1 SPL (2nd spot) starter - 1 goal
1 Jupi starter - top of table

I'm not the best YA historian we've got but I can't remember a whole lot of weeks that we could pick a Euro "team of the week" like that.

You weren't seriously expecting Szetela to get into a game already, were you? I think they've had one game since he signed.
