By a longshot, my favorite song this year is "All My Friends" by LCD Soundsystem.

That video reminds me of a great piece by video artist Bill Viola, where he is slowly and completely annihilated by both fire and water on these huge screens.

I'm more partial to "Get Innocuous!" and "Someone Great," but I agree with JeremyEritrea that both of their albums are excellent.

As for 2007 songs, I'd go with "Get Innocuous!" plus--

I'm with YankFC, "Get Innocuous!" is my fav song off the new LCD album even though they're all great. My favorite record of the year by far.

I think another contender for song of the year is D.A.N.C.E. by Justice.
