I thought we'd have one thread for the multiple YA games in Mexico. These players are all American citizens, even if they are Mexican nationals. Please, let's not start a whole argument about their status, immigration, etc. This isn't the place.
So the YA games in Mexico on 09/15 and 09/16 are:

Jesus Padilla: Chivas v Cruz Azul

Jesus started Chivas' last game against San Luis (09/08), and came on as a substitute in the previous game against Tigres (09/01)

Sonny Guadarrama, Edgar Castillo, Noel Castillo: Santos v Monterrey

Edgar Castillo started Santos' two previous matches against America (09/09) and Atlante (09/01). Sonny and Noel have not played in those matches. Santos currently sit in first place in Group 2 standings.

Sammy Ochoa: Tecos v Pumas on 09/16

Sammy Ochoa, a forward for Tecos, has not played in their previous two games (both wins) against Chiapas and Puebla. I don't think he's played so far this year. Tecos are in last place in Group 1. That group has Pachuca, Pumas, and Toluca. Yikes.

Michael Orozco: San Luis v Atlante

Michael did not play in San Luis' previous match against Chivas (09/08), but DID start in their 4-1 loss to Pachuca on 09/01.

Weekly rep to the people working on this thread. We've done a terrible job tracking goals scored by YA's in the MFL and I'd really appreciate knowing that we are tracking them here.

Thanks!

Santos 1-Monterrey 1 Full Time

Edgar Castillo went 90 minutes in defense, while Sonny Guadarrama came on as a substitue at minute 89 for Santos. I thought Sonny was a midfielder, but is listed as a forward by ESPN. He also came in to replace a forward. Maybe he's one of those M/F like Clint Dempsey.

Jesus Padilla has come on as a sub for Chivas replacing Alberto Medina. Chivas are currently beating Cruz Azul 1-0 on minute 77

The San Luis v Atlante match has just started from Estadio Andrés Quintana Roo. No update on rosters yet for you, so we'll see if Michael Orozco is in there.

Jesus Padilla and Chivas completed their 1-0 win over Cruz Azul, also. Jesus came on in the 64th minutes and completed the match. Good win for Chivas, as they are now up to 3rd place in the group 3 standings.
