I have a TiVo. So far today, Setanta has:

- Scheduled the live Everton v ManU game for 1:45, so it stopped recording in the 84th minute.

- During their inane pregame show before the Sunderland v Reading game, they displayed, in full screen graphics, the full time scores of two games we haven't seen yet, because they are on Fox Soccer Channel. I, unfortunately, saw them, even though I was fast-forwarding through the inanity.

Of course, last week, that bargain-basement satellite system they use lost chunks of some of the games.

In general, the whole outfit appears to be run by a bunch of high-school kids out of someone's garage.

Dick.

without being harsh, should Setanta withhold information that their viewers might want to know because a small number of viewers might have taped a match on rival channel?

Ok, that's dumb, but if you knew the game was live, why didn't you add some time at the end of the window. Surely TiVo can do that.

You do realize any other network in the United States would do the exact same thing?

Yeah, but only FSC is dumb enough to show you the score of the tape-delayed match you're watching.

Not true... when espn tape delays CL matches and shows them on espn classic they show the score repeatedly on the "bottom line" it's so ridiculous. Usually I have to tape a piece of paper over that sh*t.

I stand corrected. Apparently, they're all idiots.
