The Reading boys play at the stadium of light on 09/15 versus Sunderland.
Hahnemann will surely start, but we'll have to see if Convey gets the nod.
Hunt will probably get the start, but John Oster is out with an ankle injury.
This is the first ever meeting of these clubs in top-flight football; all previous league meetings have been in the second tier.

Reading Win: 2:1
Sunderland Win: 11:8
Draw: 9:4
You can get 7:1 odds that Convey will score in the 90 minutes. Seems like the odds should be higher. When was the last time Convey scored for Reading?

When they were in the Championship (although he had a good number of assists last season before his injury). Bobby's got a ways to go to get back into the game. Reading, as well, are having a troubling start despite that point at Old Trafford.

Jones gives Sunderland the lead.
Kenwyne Jones is going to be a handful if the US plays T&T during World Cup qualifying.

Convey just puts a free kick wide.
And it ends 2-1, Sunderland.

Reading will regret not spending more in the summer transfer window.
Coppell better get a few wins soon or it'll not be able to find much supplement during the winter window either.

Who would want to go there during the winter transfer if they're likely to be relegated?

My point exactly.
The team has talent to do better but they have to begin getting results.
Or they're on their own.
Kenwyne Jones is going to be a handful if the US plays T&T during World Cup qualifying. What about his Sunderland strike partner?

The problem with Reading is right smack dab in the middle of the park, their central midfield. You can't hide from that. I thought before the season that Coppell badly miscalculated.

The problem is Sidwell was free to leave and we've struggled to find players want to come to Reading.

unlike previous years, though, where 3 teams get relegated, this year it is 2 teams and Derby

You seem to have short term memory loss. Last year was 2 teams and Watford.

Nah. It's more like JMad and Nicky went cheap.
They could have really used a quality right wing, two deep midfielders and a right fullback.
All they got was an untested deep mid.

Considering who is surronding them in the table I would be a little concerned.
But it is way too early.
