System 1-4-4-2 in the game converts to a 1-3-4-3

Sergio Galarza - arquero

Ronald Raldez - defensa
Juan M. Peņa - defensa
Lorgio Alvarez - defensa
Miguel Hoyos - defensa/ medio contencion

Limberg Gutierrez - armador
Gatty Ribeiro - carrilero distribuidor
Jhasmany Campos - armador
Jaime Moreno - medio delantero

Juan Carlos Arce - Delantero
Marcelo Martins - Delantero

if we still can't be around the top four in the world cup qualifiers with this team... then..
well then we will just have to wait till 2014
but i am hopping that Bolivia will stand to its renovation that has already began in the so called " Sanchez Era " which we are living now.... and the Bolivians should and will fight till the end for a ticket to South Africa 2010
GUYS ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE POST IT ..

did you guyS ever wOnder what happenED to these players:

Carmelo Angulo - where is he does anybody know ?
Daner Pachi - wasn't Pachi a great promise ?
Justiniano
Ronald Arana - a top defender
Leo Fernandez - a great goalkeeper
Botero
Castillo - used to be THE great promise
Limbert Mendez - his speed was astonishing

Nice post.

I like your formation, and players you have in mind. I agree.

Pachi's too little, plays in wilstermann.

Leo was susupended by fifa a year from playing i believe becasue he was positive of Marijuana.

Castillo plays in O Higgin's and aparently is one of their starters, wouldnt mind giving him another chance, But we got so many forwards as it is already.

Limbert Mendez is still around, he got called up for the Friendly with ireland, and i bleieve to the copa america.

Nice post. A couple of comments, though.
I think Galarza is just too small. I would like to see Arias be given another chance.
There are a few under-rated players that have not really had a real chance to try for the national team, in a few cases except for a few minutes of play in friendlies: Lampe, Fierro, Guzman, Tordoya and Sacha Lima.

Pablo Escobar, the paraguayan currently playing for The Strongest is getting his bolivian citizenship. Call me crazy, but I would not mind seeing what he can do upfront coming from the middle and feeding fast strikers like Arce and Martins.

We gotta try anything, compadres. The last game against Peru was awful. We played so bad we made the peruvians look good.

Thanks Bolivianfuego for the update on those players
it is too sad for Leo he was a great Goalkeeper

Castillo plays in Chile ? it is not a big accomplishment

the only leagues that are worth going in South America if
a Bolivian stays in this continent is the Brazilian or Argentinian Leagues
the rest don't mean a lot in skill improvement

I also agree with you Marco

we should try Pablo Escobar, definitely

i've seen what that player can do he is like Jhasmany Campos
creates plays, controls the ball, and also scores ! he would sure
help Martin and Arce a lot up front

i hope he gets called by Erwin Sanchez

i would suggest then putting in Pablo Escobar instead of Limberg
who really needs to lose weight.. because we need our players to have speed, so they can compete against other fast players

Limberg could replace Moreno in the last 35 minutes

About Arias.. where is he playing now ? why didn't Erwing called him? are things i don't know at this point... there must be reasons

The new line up would be :

Sergio Galarza - arquero

Ronald Raldez - defensa
Juan M. Peņa - defensa
Lorgio Alvarez - defensa
Miguel Hoyos - defensa/ medio contencion

Pablo Escobar - medio delantero
Gatty Ribeiro - carrilero distribuidor
Jhasmany Campos - armador
Jaime Moreno - medio delantero

Juan Carlos Arce - Delantero
Marcelo Martins - Delantero

or
Limberg Gutierrez --> Jaimer Moreno

I like where you're going with it - Maybe add Andaveris at some point - I always liked Danner Pachi, he runs like crazy, tho he is a bit slight of frame...maybe as a substitute if things aren't working out...

IMO, and only my opinion... I believe its obvious Bolivia has a promising team for the road to the WC, but I believe the only thing really holding them back is a well known and established DT.

I mean your current DT was one of Bolivia's best players and all, but... I think if the federation were to invest WELL in a good DT... Bolivia would be something to reckon with. Same problems are occuring in Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay.

GL Bolivia, anything is possible.

Pachi. Every time I hear that name I want to cut my left nut off. The dude plays fine in Bolivia, but he is way too slow, and his frame isn't meant for international soccer. THat dude drank too many cokes when he was a kid. Too small, and can't do anything definsively.

Ughh, what?

Well, if he was any good, I guess we would have heard of him by now if he was that good.

OK

I think it is just too sad that about two thirds of Bolivians playing abroad are forwards and yet our natl teams have to pray for a full moon two times in the same month prior to scoring in an intl game!!

Saltenya94

Ok my guess...

1 SERGIO GALARZA ORIENTE PETROLERO
Probable choice. I've not seen enough to have an opinion. When I think of Bolivian Goalkeepers I think Trucco and Gato and when you play like Bolivia does you need a super goalie. I've heard descent things... so we'll see...
2 HUGO SUAREZ WILSTERMANN
3 CARLOS LAMPE BOLIVAR
4 MIGUEL HOYOS THE STRONGEST
5 LUIS GATTY RIBEIRO REAL POTOSI
6 RONALD RALDES ROSARIO CENTRAL (ARG)
Raldes is a god. That's all I have to say as for the others I've not seen any Lampe so here's hoping he's the shiznit.
7 NICOLAS SUAREZ REAL POTOSI
8 CARLOS TORDOYA BOLIVAR
9 JUAN MANUEL PEŅA CELTA DE VIGO (ESP)
Can JMP still hang in the games? Well we do need experience.
10 SANTOS AMADOR REAL POTOSI
11 LIMBERT MENDEZ WILSTERMANN
12 LORGIO ALVAREZ CERRO PORTEŅO (PAR)
Alvarez is quality.
13 RICARDO VERDUGUEZ BLOOMING
14 ALEJANDRO GOMEZ SAN JOSE
15 LEONEL REYES BOLIVAR
16 RONALD GARCIA ARIS (GRE)
17 SACHA LIMA WILSTERMANN
18 GUALBERTO MOJICA CFR 1907 (RUM)
Is Mojica any good? Never heard of him...
19 RONALD GUTIERREZ LA PAZ FC
20 JAIME CARDOZO THE STRONGEST
21 JOSELITO VACA BLOOMING
22 JHASMANY CAMPOS ORIENTE PETROLERO
There are a gazillion players here. No one really stands out... they can hold their own - but against Uruguay and Colombia I worry...
23 LIMBERG GUTIERREZ BLOOMING
24 DIEGO CABRERA CUCUTA (COL)
Well at least Cabrera is scoring for Cucuta...
25 AUGUSTO ANDAVERIS LA PAZ FC
26 JAIME MORENO DC UNITED (USA)
27 CARLOS SAUCEDO BOLIVAR
28 JUAN CARLOS ARCE CORINTHIANS (BRA)
Here's our hope
29 NELSON SOSSA WILSTERMANN
30 MARCELO MARTINS CRUZEIRO (BRA)
Here's another of our hopes..

I'm hoping the players based in Brazil show something... The rest I hope are good but finishing better than bottom 2 in the Qualifiying would be nice.
