Thought I would start this thread.
So who is going to NOT be back for this game? I am guessing the two obvious players - klasnic and hunt - and maybe frings too?
Go and show the madrid team and schuster what beautiful football is ... :)

Martin Harnik, Womé, Fritz and Carlos Alberto could be in the squad
(have light injuries or are already back in running training or training)
Frings, Borowski, Klasnic and Hunt not.
Go and show the madrid team and schuster what beautiful football is ... :)
Definite an experience for every player to play in Bernabéu.
Hope for a good match. :)

after the game against dortmund, werder probably won't show real madrid anything exciting.

Well, despite the loss to dortmund, I think bremen can do very well here.

Sometimes it happens, but i expect us to get outplayed. :(
I lost faith in many players, they always do the same mistakes
or don´t want to give all for the club.

OK, after yesterday's performance my tip for the game: 5:0 for Madrid...

This could be very ugly if Werder play like they did against Dortmund. This isn't the Madrid side of the last 3-4 years. This is arguably the toughest game in the group and it couldn't come at a worse time.
Good luck!

After we get four counters against Bayern
the team improved and won 3 matches in a row, against Real
it will be difficult, but i aspect, that we´ll get no bad result
(mabye a loose in Madrid, but no loose with more than 2 goals).
I don´t trust some players, but if the team doesn´t have motivation
for this match, the players should do another job.

I presume Borowski and Frings will be back in 1-2 weeks?

I heard about 2-3 weeks until they return to team training.
It's probably a good thing the first match is the toughest one. They have nothing to lose in this one and should have most of the key players back for the games where they can realistically earn their points.
But please improve your defense and don't lose by more than three. :o

Hmmmm, if madrid don't manhandle diego like barcelona did at the nou camp, then they might cause problems.
This is real madrid, but it's still a new team.
Or hey, just send the dortmund team over to get a sure 3 points :D

I think Schuster is worried enough about Werder to try to cause a distraction......
See the story at the link below.
Schuster Has Real Interest In Diego (http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=afp-fblgerespbraeurc1&prov=afp&type=lgns)

"Diego is a very interesting player, we have spoken to Bremen's management about him this summer, but it is doubtful he will come this season," Schuster told Sunday's edition of Bild newspaper.
The weird thing is that Schuster said "Diego ist ein sehr interessanter Spieler und wir haben über ihn geredet. Aber nicht für diese Saison.", at least that's what Bild posted on their website.
I don't know how that became a "we have spoken to Bremen's management about him" for the translation on multiple sites.
I think Schuster is worried enough about Werder to try to cause a distraction......
Bild asked him:
"Warum haben sie ihn nicht geholt?"
"Kommt er für die nächste saison?"
"Noch mal: Wollen Sie Diego in der kommenden Saison nach Madrid holen?"
FFS.Bild pulling the steel hammer out to try to force a headline out of the topic by asking three times the same question in a 6 question interview. :D
