a great half from Bremen, if we could score one more goal, it would be huge. But keeping the score 1-1 would also be great for Werder

As long as they don't stop what they are doing now trying to keep it 1-1. They have to keep playing with Real, not just try not to concede.

But I am sure you know that. :)

I live in NYC and can't watch the game. So you are happy with the way they are playing? Has Bremen had the better chances?

I'm very happy with the way Werder are playing. Werder have had good chances along with the Sanogo goal.

Casillas has had to make two pretty damned good saves, but to me Real look to be the more dangerous team. The one more likely to score the next goal.

Not trying to be an a-hole here guys. That is not what I want, but what I am seeing so far.

One more beer and than watch the second half. My prediction is 3-1 for Real Madrid after 90 minutes, simply because they have more football skills in the team. Have FUN people!

68th minute: Wiese makes a nice save on Raul, who had gotten behind the Werder defense. Raul tried to lob the ball over Wiese's head, but Wiese looked like a basketball player blocking a shot as he brought it down one-handed.

Also at this time, Almeida in for Rosenborg and Robinho just entered the match for Real. I missed who he replaced.

72nd minute: Wiese forced to make a brilliant save against RvN, who had gotten position on Naldo. Almeida had a chance at the other end, but could only hit the outside of the net.

74th minute: RvN finally puts Real ahead. Sorry guys, but it was starting to look inevitable.

Let's hope Werder can come back again!!

83rd minute: Real substitution Robben in for Raul

How many clubs do you know that can bring players like Robinho, Drenthe (who came in earlier for Guti) and Robben off the bench?! Damn! :o
