To start off in questioning Peru's victory againt la tricolor

i have to say that the Peruvian team was in their zone cause they had just came from a game with Colombia
but Bolivia had just gathered its group two days ago
that a gigantic factor... when talking about group play.. passes..etc

but what i want to point out also is this

how come everybody here except Pzygote

is saying that we are blaming entirely the referee ?

i will say this for the third or fourth time i think it is

we are not saying that the loss was completely due to the peruvian referee

what we are saying is... that IT WAS WRONG to have a peruvian referee
please .... i mean please understand that

even the bolivian newspapers are pointing out that the Bolivian players did not want to come out in the field when they knew the referee was Peruvian... because they knew it was not right

how are you gonna have PERU VS BOLIVIA in LIMA, Peru and have as a referee a Peruvian guy? WTF ?

the peruvian referee did not call a legitimate foul on a Bolivian player (Alvarez) in the penalty area in favor of Bolivia... and made a lot of mistakes in the peruvian side...not calling for a lot of Bolivians that got fouled up there
but he did call every and each foul that was made to a peruvian player
not one he let go... he even called ones that did not exist
i am not talking about yellow cards forget the yellow cards
i am talking about calls
he did not call a lot of fouls against the bolivian players...
that was unfair because any of those could have ended in a goal

now i know that the lost was due to the mistake of the bolivian defense

but if another referee was there maybe this game might up ended in a different way

these factors matter if you guys now a lot about soccer as it seems you should know this

and how come no one is pointing out that the peruvians had the advantage of playing home ? are we forgetting that Bolivia played away ?

come on.... the Peruvians were at home where the practically grew up, with their fans screaming like it was the end of the world and plus a Peruvian Referee...(Bonus)

i am not taking the credit away from Peru but the did get a lot of help from playing home... and having a fan of theirs as a Referee

all these factors afected the defeat of this better Bolivian team
and this is the Truth which makes me free

Cheers to Bolivia !

and all of you fans of the TRICOLOR , rojo ,yellow , green !
