Rafa was cocky and too cool
Salcido was cocky and good
Guardado was bawlsy as usual
Memo was grande
Cacho was scared
Defense was iffy
Mid was good.
Offense was alright by needs to bring more. Guardado ignigted them on the goal. Vela and Gio didnt have enough time.
Needs more opportunities
WCQs is when it will happen.

Like how Mexico always shuts down ronnie, Seeing barca games, he just goes through opponents while against Mexico he is shutdown like a lil crackhead.

********kkkkkkkk!!!!!!! Pinche Hugo should've made those cambios way before.
Marquez played a pretty good game aside from his mistake on the 2nd brazil goal. Torrado..i don't like that guy. He doesn't know how to pass the ball and is very slow. Correa was invisible. Nery needs pass the ball. Ochoa is a bad ass keeper. It was a friendly, why not give Giovani and Vela a whole half to get them used to playing with the rest of the team. Vela showed pretty good ball control the few minutes he was in. Giovani practically did not do anything and it wasn't hes fault.

We looked pretty good and we were shutting them down until a few devensive mistakes... Ochoa is man of the match. That one save he had on that header was one of the best saves I've ever seen. Nery:mad: pass the ball man...

I thought Torrado and Correa were two of the best players on the field... They were making life hard for the Brasilians. The position they play makes them seem invisible but Def. Mid. is such an underrated position.

...totally agree with this...salcido and rafa did not look good...
...mexico tried too hard and well deserved win for brasil...
...we did not generate much in the front and were too repetitive on the left side...
...hugo had to make changes of cacho and nery after the half...

Very good match for Mexico. The problem is that Hugo is not a tactician. Mexico has very good players. Again, he has a decision making problem when it comes to making substitutions. I would like to see Hugo demonstrate some tactics and show that he is working on variable plays. So far, I see none of it.
Mexico has a bright future, but with a better tactician coach. I loved Hugo as a player, but as a coach, he needs to study more.

game is over..
brazil is brazil... deserves the #1 in the world..
Last time I checked Italy were the world champs.
Anyway this game was like the copa america game
With Ochoa saving our ass and Mexico pulling ahead.
But then came their first goal. Mexico's nightmare continues SET PIECES.
Then it was a pretty much even for the first part of the second half.
Brazil then stepped it up but Ochoa came up big.
Then Rafa f'ks up and tada this team doesn't comeback from behind

What was up with salcido catching the ball? Doesn't seem like he's the salcido of a year ago, and two years ago. Maybe it's just me. Not saying he's playing bad by any means, just doesn't play with as much intensity it seems, looks like he's playing with an over inflated ego.
When he wasn't catching the ball, seemed like he was griping a lot to correa and guadado a lot, looked frustrated for no reason, it's not as if he played a perfect game, a lot of his passes left a lot to be desired, especially the one he sent to Robinho, which, if it weren't for Rafa saving his arse, would have cost a goal. and, even though rafa gave the brazilians a gift on the second goal, the play did originate on his side, as he left his man alone and allowed a cross to begin with.
who was it that missed the ball when Arce hit the post on the free kick? Magallon? Ball fell right in front of him when it was tied. Have to put the ball in.
I really don't think Mexico will ever do anything playing with two defensive mids and two wingers. It seems like it's an uphill battle whenever we're playing out of the back, they never look too dangerous, with out the element of surprise that an enganche brings. Seems like they rely too much on counter attack, and the speed of Guadado and Nery, which when neutralize, proves useless as it did tonight.
Rafa played well, besides the one mistake. Torrado and Correa did well i thought, they did their job. Castro seems to step it up when he's with the seleccion, i thought he did well today. Osorio is going to have to fight for his spot, in the Hugo era, Castro has definitely shown tons more. Think people are a bit too harsh on Arce, he helped the defense a lot, gave some good passes.
Decent game over all
My two cents.
