Hmmm, on paper these could be the two biggest challengers to OL (I don't include OM since I don't think Emon can turn them around), so it should be a good match, as Ricardo's tactics aren't completely negative/defensive, though if ASM get a goal early on, don't be shocked if he'll bring on a 5th defender.

Digard/Clément vs. Gakpé/Ménez? If those guys stay in France for a bit, that could be a duel in years ahead in L1.

Not sure about this game although I do feel if Monaco was to attack us they'll get a few goals .

1-2, with goals from Armand and Diane...

I'll watch it later on PSG.tv, give more cogent analysis then...

No doubt, solid win away, tho.

Totally called this one in the Fantasy League competition, and though I like both teams, I was happy to see PSG's wing play come back. Rothen and Diané tormented Cufré/Muratori on the flanks, then again, I've questioned why Ricardo has either guy in that position anyway (they've been more than a bit inconsistent).

Anyway, as I said before the match, I expect both teams to give OL a challenge this year, and while it's questionable either of them can overtake Les Gones, I think they'll both be in contention to get CL spots.

I'll still take Bordeaux over both of them.

I wouldn't because L1 is a defensive league, and Bordeaux aren't as strong in their defensive system, witness their allowing 2 goals in the final 15 minutes against Lorient. I would prefer if Bordeaux get a Champions League spot actually because they're an attacking side, and I like them, though I believe they'll be on the outside looking in.

Wing plaay and Landreau...that defined this match.

Along with the cultural shift reflected in the dimunition of Pauleta, itself significant. Where are the goals going to come from when team adjust?

We still have work to do in the Jan transfer window; scouts need to be doing that work right now.

We need a bonified striker, preferably two.
