So, so tragic.
Thee best fish tacos are of Chilean seabass. Sauteed w/ bell peppers, onions, jalapenyos, homemade red salsa (roasted tomatoes, roasted jalapenyos, roasted garlic, salt to taste), a splash of fresh orange juice...
... served w/ a chilled Gewurtztraminer (?) or Riesling or Muller Thurgau, Mexican rice and pinto or black beans, fresh cilantro topped on all and some queso fresco, DAMN that is some good eating. Simple. Easy to make. Fairly inexpensive.
And impresses the hell out of the ladies.
Why, God, why??? :(
