Jon Stewart Given Second Shot at Oscar (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/12/movies/12stewart.html?_r=1&oref=slogin)
Ellen was fine. Jon is funnier. But Conan is probably even funnier -- why not give him the Oscars?
Anyway -- Kudos to Stewart. Here's hoping for some significant Colbert airtime as well.

Anthoer trainwreck in the making. Stewart is much smarter than the live audience.

I say he should do his best to make it the biggest trainwreck possible.

As long as it's Stewart, Rock and Ellen rotating I'm liking it. And definitely give Conan or Colbert a shot.
Just no more Billy. Please.

"So as far as Oscars go: 3-6 Mafia -1, Martin Scorsese - 0." I loved that line from Stewart in the last go-around. Thanks for the youtube from Emmy's. The Wolverine line was hilarious. Q

His "gay Westerns" montage was the best thing about that Oscar broadcast. It was a hit-or-miss one, but far funnier than the idiot pundits knocking Stewart believe. The awkward silences after the jokes (that clearly went over their heads) was the best part.
