Replicas of the African Cup Of Nations balls are going for crazy money on eBAY. The ones being sold on there aren't even the teamgiest its the cheapest version adidas make of the ball (teamgiest glider) and some bids are upto £25! If you could buy this ball in the shops it would be like £8!

Heres my latest ball. It's the one used in Leagues 1 & 2 in England.

Having got Nike Aerows and Vapors and several other Mitres, I feel the differences between the two brands is huge. My most commonly used ball is my Aerow II because I like the bounce and flight, and in comparison to the Mitres its like using a lightweight version. This Mitre is heavier but flies staight and it just seems Mitre stick to the good old fashioned leather ball whilst Nike and adidas go for lightweight and bouncy.

I do like the appearance of this one unlike the previous Mitre ball, and I do enjoy using it however I think I'll still end up using the Aerow more because of its bounce and touch in all conditions.

I love the way that every team in the league has the match ball in their own colours! I think it looks so cool.

That mitre ball is NICE, when I used to play football (:rolleyes:) we had those at our club and you can proper ping them.

Yeah I like the way each team has their own colours. I think it would look great if they did it in the Premiership with the Aerow there'd be some good versions, like Villa and Newcastle.

did they stop making the nike aerowII i have been looking to get one but i cant really seem to find one (im looking to spend about 20-40$ i know it wouldnt be the real thing but it be close)

They're still making it, there are tons of places that have it over here. It's still the official Premier League ball this season.

that mitre looks a great ball, in fact its supossed to be better than the prem ball as it moves less in the air and isnt as lightweight

i remember sky sports wind tunnel tested them and it barely moved in the air when the prem ball was all over the place

Wasn't it for the World Cup? I know they did something where they tested the EPL ball, Fizzy Pop ball, some cheapo ball, and the Teamgeist.

I'm thinking about getting the vapor high end ball tomorrow. They have it in my local nike store for £16 and its a nice looking ball. So im guessing ill grab one while they have them in stock.

Alright, it looks like I WILL be able to get a few of the balls. I'm trying to get the +Teamgeist Federation, and possibly the Champions League version as well.
