My v1.06 concacaf ball had black marks all over it. I was at a kick around on a very wet field that was of high enough quality to handle all the water without getting muddy. That field cleaned most of the marks off the ball.

I'm off to the Adidas outlet in York later this week, im hoping to grab myself a reduced teamgeist. I've decided the teamgeist 2 i have is the best ball i have ever owned.

Yeah it is because its the final ball. They had loads of europasses for the same price. And they had the champions league ball with the blue/green stars which was £52.00 for som bizzare reason!!

I paid $65 for that ball back in February. It is nice. Mine has excess glue around the seams where the panels are bonded together. It is the only TG ball I have owned so I don't know if that is normal.

The 2 that i have don't have any excess glue. My teamgeist 1 did though. That had quite a bit. But none of my teamgeist 2s do. Fantastic ball though!

the excess glue is probably why they were in the outlet store...in sure if its not poking out a ton its not going to affect anything

I think you can try to take a look at brands other than Nike and Adidas, such as Puma/Diadora/Umbro etc. Sometimes high ends of those brands have better price and the quality is also competitive.

I have had high end Nike balls. I have had the past few premier league balls and i have the mercurial ball. But to be honest. I don't think they are anything special compared to the Adidas balls. They tend to loose they shape slightly and don't have such a good grip. The teamgeist 2 blows all Nike balls ive tried out of the water in my opinion.
And although i didn't pay it i would say its the ONLY ball which is worth its RRP of £85.00.

here you go:
http://www.soccerballworld.com/Terresta-2000.htm
usually they make 3 tiers of balls....the super expensive 1st tier used by pros, a match quality 2nd tier, and a 3rd tier training ball.
i think yours might be the 2nd tier version of the Terresta, since it says "team" instead of "silverstream" underneith the word Terresta.

it's debatable if a ball is even worth that kind of money imo
after all it is just a ball after all

I also agree that no ball is worth that much, and luckily I've managed to get a fair few balls for much less. This is the latest, Mitre Revolve Sheffield United version.

When these are brand new I have to say they are the one of the best professional balls available. If you leave them pumped up they can lose their spring/padding but while they're new they have a great feel.

I have got a fair few different footballs from different makes and from my experience Mitre and Umbro ball feel more traditional in the way they stay straighter in flight. Nike balls can sometimes seem to move too much. The two Adidas balls are quite simillar and are fast and accurate but I feel they do have a bit of a beach ball sound to them when you kick them.
But as most people say no ball is really worth £85 and thankfully I haven't paid more than £35 for any of these, and 8 or 9 have been used in professional matches. The white Umbro one was used between England and Russia and that only cost £30.
