Can anyone recommend some cheap practice balls? I'd like to buy 6-8 of them to practice free kicks with. If they come in a set, even better.

For the person who should have posted here, if it doesn't have a FIFA Approved logo it's not the professional version.

just moving from another thread

hello, i am about to purchase a Nike Vapor Ball off of ebay. I just want to confirm its authenticity with you guys. This deal seems too good to be true.

The link is here
http://cgi.ebay.com/Nike-Mercurial-V...QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.com/Nike-Mercurial-Vapor-Ball-White-Ginger-Original_W0QQitemZ250171101156QQihZ015QQcategoryZ20863QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

the seller claims it doesnt have a fifa approved logo. is this ball real or fake?

thanks

Well as I recall there is a Vapor ball in the same style with double-hex panelling, but it's just the cheaper version. Its a good enough ball, just won't last you as long as the expensive version.

so both vapors (cheap and expensive) have double hexagon panels. the expensive version has a fifa approved logo and the cheap one doenst?

Yup, as far as I'm aware. I'll look into it and get back to you to confirm.

It appears the new Teamgiest 2 or Teamgei2t ball is textured, kinda like the Aerow I...

you're right. I think educated guess would be that the ball on ebay is either fake or not high-end vapor

I was wrong, the high end one has the double hex.

so apparently this vapor he's trying to sell have double hex but do not have a fifa approved logo. in addition, there are 30 panels on this ball instead of 26 like normal nike balls. he just tried to explain this to me by telling me each double panel counts as 2 panels...which still doesnt add up

Huh...I hope this means that the original Teamgeist is going to come down in price soon. I'd like to pick one up, but given that the surface I often play on is pretty rough, I haven't been able to convince myself to spring for a 130 dollar ball.

Relating to that, does anyone know a good ball that I could find in the 50-100 dollar range that would both play nicely and hold up on a less than idea surface?
