I found teamgeist balls to be not much durable compared with other high-end balls. We had to change 2 balls in one season. With that in mind, maybe you're better off with getting TG2 balls ($65 at soccerpost.com)

OT: What's the difference with Terrapass and Europass balls?

just the print i believe.
i personally love my europass ball, but im only a weekend player.

What is a decent ball I could get for $20 or less. The only ball I have now I got for free from a soccer camp, and it is starting to get off center (assuming you know what I mean). I could probably get a few more for free as my PE teacher is the "director" of the team and he has 20+/- of the balls in the equipment room of our school, but I would have to steal them as he hates me.

Sucks they only have it in size 3. Mitre and Lanzara balls are a lot cheaper than their Adidas or Nike counterparts right?

it depends...

but if u are still looking for a good cheap ball, i would suggest looking thru soccer.com in the training ball section, and read the reviews and see which under 20 bux balls have 4 or more stars...

This site has all their balls on sale for atleast 50% off so this is probably the best deal you can get for $20.

Its been my experience that you get more quality for your money with Select than with nike/adidas/puma..cheaper Select balls are the same or better quality than mid-level big brand balls

Brine balls usually last longer than Nike or Adidas also. My high school uses the Phantom for training and the coach says that the balls are in their 3rd season.

I can attest to that too. Brine balls are far superior to Nike and adidas balls (in general) when it comes to durability. That's one of the main reasons why they're the #1 choice for most high school teams. Good quality, last long, and aren't as expensive as a more prominent brand.

I was watching the UEFA game today between Man City and Aalborg and noticed they used a Hummel ball. I didn't even know Hummel made balls. It looked pretty cool. Anybody know anything about Hummel balls and where you can buy them?

I just bought the Nike 10R Gaucho ball. here: http://asbysports.com/10R-Gauchoblackred-earthsailSC1500065/M/B001ELFJ2I.htm?traffic_src=froogle&utm_medium=organic&utm_source=froogle

Can anyone tell me if i bought a good ball? Can someone review it?

well, it looks cool!

although it would be hard to see at night....but then again, i rarely play at night, and if i do, the field has lights....

buuut i have yet to try it. i hear its made of leather instead of butyl which is interesting...

in the pictures of it, it looks very firm and pumped up. but when i got it today it won't get as firm as that. it won't get firm!

thats what she said! :D

sorry couldnt resist....so did you pump it up VERY tight? i had a ball that seemed to never get completely rounded and firm....i know what you mean, but that was a cheapo adidas ball....

im not sure, but perhaps where the material is close to the seams is real stiff still and it perhaps takes some time for the air to press it flat if that makes sense....

im just guessing though...

This is just a guess, but I almost think that Ronaldinho ball is more of a collectable rather than a match ball. The main reason i say this is that is has a buytl bladder and the problems inflating it. Most high end, mid range balls have latex bladders. If I remember correctly, Nike came out with all sorts of Ronaldinho gear like shinguards (http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Section_Id=1&Product_Id=467878&cm_mmc=CA-_-CSE-_-google-_-SOC&CAWELAID=245872395) that originally cost $150 and were limited edition.

Any recommendations for indoor? All of my cheap balls get scuffed up during the kickarounds before the game (which I don't mind), but is there a durable game ball that anyone has good experience with?

Thanks.
