View Full Version : Which Rev do you hate the most?

Posted this on the la norte board but curious here also:
have to admit that I hate the revolution far and away more than I hate any other team in the league. Hate, hate, hate, hate. Hacking cheap shot artists. Annoying, whiny, little B*tches. I am curious as to other DCfans level of hatred and who it is directed at.
And I don't mean the normal "I hate Reis" or "Heaps is a sack of sh*t". Everybody hates those two. I find my hate extending in strange directions. For example I hate Khano Smith. Mouthy, whiny punk. One of the highlights for me yesterday was taunting Smith to the point where he was gave us the finger. I also despise Larentowicz. He seems like the kind of guy that would get weird and seriously violent and strange after a couple drinks. Dorman, Ralston and Noonan seem interchangeable in my mind and I assume that (a) up close they both smell like filthy, wet dogs and (b) they form some sort of quasi-falangists, crypto-facist cell. Twellman is a pretty boy and I really like it when he gets smacked in the face and lays on the ground and cries like a fourth grade girl who just lost at four-squares. He seems like a low rent Landon Donavon-he could be a real player if he had any balls-but he doesn't and never will.
Joe Franchino. Joe Franchino. Imagine if he were your new neighbor. Would you let the kids play outside? I think not.
The only rev's player I can have any sort of respect for is shalrie joseph.
I understand many on this board's feeling towards the rebulls. But the difference between the redbulls and the revs is that the redbulls are our arch nemesis-the revs our arch enemy.

I have a little respect for Joseph because he wants out of that mess and for Ralston because it seems he just keeps quiet. Far and away, for me, Twellman is the object of my discontent for the Revs. I just don't like him. I don't think I would like him if he were sitting five people away from me at the same bar and he wasn't a soccer player and he was buying me a beer. I don't think I would like him if he gave me a lot of money. I don't think I would like him if his sister was Salma Hayek and he hooked me up with her. I don't think I would like him if he was a stud for the national team. But at the end of the day, he is none of these things nor done any of these actions, so I can just plainly say I don't like him...and it kills me every time he scores on us.

I like Ralston. He's always seemed like a decent, hardworking guy to me. Why they starved him of the ball yesterday I have no idea.
Khano Smith is my choice too. Big, thugly, whiny, amazingly untalented. I have no idea how he remains employed.
A close second is Riley, the second worst defender in the league (behind Jack Stewart.)
There's also a special place in hell reserved for Rusty, but he's gone now.

Yet he manages to kill us in important games, doesn't he?

I agree completely.

Isn't that backwards? The revs have actually done real damage to us.

I hate Abbey!! he was tenable along with his AR... oh wait you said rev, not ref... I hate all of them but probably Heaps the most. He is such a puvssy. The only one I kinda respect is TT because of what he did/does for the USMNT and he is just a good player. Great finish yesterday... But I don't like him when he has that ugly blue Revs jersey on

What a bunch of punks. Twellman went down grabbing his face after a collision with Ben (?), his teammates just kept going trying to score and didnt even think to stop the play to get him assistance until AFTER we got the ball back.
Jay Heaps is IMHO the worst of the pack. He is very dirty and whiny. And he is from Duke.
Reis is the dude that clubbered Esky, right? He has a place reserved in hell for himself. He ruined Esky's career.
Twellman however, I respect. He is a great MLS player. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I just hate them as a single entity. There's no one on their current roster that really gets me.
They don't have a Martino, Ruiz, or Tino -like player right now.
Though, I am in awe of Cristman's blazing speed and leaping ability.

The Metrodonkeys our arch-nemesis? Huh?
nem·e·sis
NOUN:
pl. nem·e·ses
1. A source of harm or ruin: Uncritical trust is my nemesis.
2. Retributive justice in its execution or outcome: To follow the proposed course of action is to invite nemesis.
3. An opponent that cannot be beaten or overcome.
4. One that inflicts retribution or vengeance.
5. Nemesis Greek Mythology The goddess of retributive justice or vengeance.
It's not the case that they can't be beaten or overcome; in fact, we do it quite frequently. It's not the case that the inflict retribution or vengeance. In what way are they a nemesis of any kind?

Most of my pure, unadulterated hatred is reserved for the MetroBulls, but there IS still plenty of hate left to disseminate elsewhere in the league...Khano Smith, for example, who seemed to spend so much time falling down with his hands in the air that at first I thought the Revs had signed Diego Serna, put him on the rack, gave him a tan, and put "Smith" on his jersey to try and fool us. The hatred of Reis and Heaps does go without saying. Twellman, oddly enough, I do have a bit of grudging respect for, coupled with hatred of him being a pu**y, in that while he did cry like a bitch after every contact, after the game he didn't scapegoat the refs in his post-game comments.
Yes, the Revs are much more our arch-nemesis...The RedMetroBullStars are that f'ing obnoxious kid on the playground for which everyone feels all the better for kicking the crap out of. You know the type...as soon as they say something, after you recover from the incredulity that someone could utter something so stupid, you HAVE to hit them...It's in the rules. They're that guy.

As I mentioned previously:
The hate for Jay Heaps is beyond explanation. It's a burning seething thing and sometimes I frighten myself with the horrible things I think about him.
I loathe Sharlie Joseph. He is an absolute hack, a thug and an ass to boot. Suffice it to say, if he disappeared hiking, I would not be joining the search team to find that bastard. And he's ugly.
I can't really bring myself to hate Twellman. He's too entertaining for me. The way things continually play out for him, well, he clearly worships the wrong god and is being punished for it - and that entertains me.
I have found a new place in my hate for that Thompson kid. Nothing stands out, but I rewatched the game and just remember being overwhelmed with hate when he got subbed in.
Reis I grudgingly respect, but I wish the guy wouldn't be such a thug. He actually a very talented goal keeper and I don't think he needs to play at that level. He thinks highly of himself though and I like the look of utter shock on his face when he gets scored on.
Noonan and Ralston are pretty much the same person in my mind and just bore me.
Jumping high on the list of hate yesterday, Stevie Nichol.
What a b*tch.

Geez, why didn't you save us all the trouble and ask if there is anyone we DON'T hate?
In that case, I don't have anything against Ralston. That's about it.

See, just now, seeing that picture... my mind immediately goes to - wow it'd be awesome if that couch was on fire.
I've been spending too much time with jgildea8. I used to be such a nice girl.

Oh, right...Joseph...Hate for Joseph, too. How he got out of that match without at least a yellow is beyond me, and thoroughly disproves Nichol's "the refs were against us" BS...But at least he has some talent.
Oh, and F Heaps. again. Just for spite. And Reis. And the Metros. Especially them. pigf***ers, all of 'em. Except for Mathis, whom no pig will have.

OK, I gotta ask. Is there an MLS team you don't hate?

Yeah, I didn't give two Heaps about Nichol until yesterday. But after his antics and post-game comments... what a giant douche.

Hmmmm, the couch on fire is intersting-but i wouldbe afraid he'd just rolloff and get away. My first reaction would be "wouldn't it be great if a bowling ball fell from a great height right on his chest, cruching his sternum". I also wonder where in the world a picture like that would come from

I can't muster up any hatred for Colorado, Houston or Toronto at the moment. Or Real Salt Lake, beyond their stadium. Does that count?
