WOW!
Now I didn't see the game, as I've not had chance to see any of the tourney since we were eliminated (FYI the only time I'll not enjoy watching English girls having their pants pulled down by American Chicks;) ), but I gotta say that interview has made me love womens soccer again- refreshing to hear the unadulterated truth being spoken by a player, unashamed to speak out of turn, without PR advisors scripting her response, tailoring it to be PC and to not offend.
NICE

She's popular with her teammates already... one of the main pissoffs about putting Scurry in is the fact that team chemistry with Hope, especially now, is huge. It's a pretty young team, and they gel pretty well together (although not as much as I'd like during this world cup). Putting Scurry in, in the SEMIFINAL no less, totally botched that up.
That interview makes me happy inside :)
Go Hope!

That was a fantastic game. I'm surprised that Spurs wore that kit though. It looks a bit strange especially seeing them in a collar!

A bit of a strange request...
BUT, does anybody have any idea how to get a photo signed by Cristiano Ronaldo...but addressed to somebody?
For example...
"Dear Stan, Best wishes", and then his autograph??

Have to ask him yourself. That's not me taking the piss, that's the honest answer. When you meet players in person you can ask them to sign something specific, otherwise it's a generic sig.

Got cleated in my game by the keeper Sunday. He came out on a break a way and intentionally went cleats up against me. I got up swiped his legs and threw him down
now I am out for 2 games with a red (league rules 2 games for straight red) and he gets a yellow

only him and that joke that plays in goal for the goon!
On the one hand I can almost see why he did it, after being flared by Inter fans, and clearly after ballsing up for both goals, he must've (rightly) felt emotional and vulnerable when suddenly this fan ran onto the pitch, and truth be told the fan could've had a knife or anything on him, so perhaps in a way Dudu (sorry) felt he had to draw attention to this so it didn't go unpunished (alot like how players are forced to exaggerate contact to win free-kicks thanx to referee's incompetence), on the other hand the only honorable thing would be for him to come out right away and state he did EXACTLY THAT, which he won't, so he'll go down as the biggest p***y b***h since Rivaldo I guess....
Shameful. worse still is no doubt all British citizens will be banned from kicking anything resembling a sphere for the next 2 decades, whilst Milan will be awarded a victory for the other year's CL final against the scouse....

I played in goal twice, first time injured my knee effectively ruining my career (not that drink hadn't already done that mind) and the second time I conceeded 13 (I think) although I did save a peno....
So in a word YES, im better than Dida!
