i mean, i admit, they played with heart and put great effort.. but come on... any idiot can see it was a lucky campaign.. Turkey on the other hand was awesome and deserved everybit of the success they earned, the 3rd/4th place match showed koreans what true football is, and how they luckliy got themselves to that point.. although Spain and Italy truely messed up and should have played much better and not even let it go down to the last minute with korea, BUT... korea was not the better team

korea... the best team in asia, better than Iran and played better than Italy... and luckier than spain.

the better team does not win. the team that plays better does.

the better team does not win. the team that plays better does. not quite... sometimes the team that plays better loses-- isn't that the luck part?
Not that there's anything wrong with being lucky...

I thought stupid jealous trolls were still suffering from a hangover drinking to forget that their team sucks.

they did have an easier way afterall.

the game against Turkey in which Turkey scored with LUCK?

Korea outshot Turkey 20-9 and out-possessed the ball 54%-46%.
Turkey's goalie Rustu Recber saved Turkey all by himself in that match.

You obvisously didn't watch the game.

On a side note, in a 3-1 victory, Bahrain showed what true football is.

I never denied that.

My point was that Korea was the dominant side (in terms of game play) just like USA was in USA-Germany.

Korea is "maybe" the best team in Asia, I still think Japan is atleast as good. In the world cup I liked how Korea played with heart, but there run was all luck(and maybe some bribery, I stress Maybe some bribery), so dont all you korean fans go ballistic on me!

...and in the end, Korea and Japan only played one common opponent: Turkey. Each was beaten by one goal.

Of course Korea were lucky - but you have to be good enough to take advantage of the lucky breaks.

Good teams create their own luck. Korea deserved to beat Italy. I have no sympathy for Totti. He's a diving little bitch.

Korea Stinks. Thats it. we'll see if they even qualify in four years, at least Iran or any other team is not lousy enough to give up a goal in the first 10 seconds of a match like they did. That last match was the real Korean team, and as most of you saw, it wasn't any good. I know all you Koreans gotta show KP and all but when you look at them from a unbiased view they are not all that great. If you look at all the goals they scored, not too many of them were skillful, most were based on an error by the defender or by lousy play by the goalie(i.e goal against Portugal). Sure Ahn had some nice headers but if you take out the lucky goals those headers wouldn't mean much.

2 of 3 regular defenders didnt start against Turkey(minor injuries), def midfielder also didnt play(injured).
are you telling me the last match was the real korean team despite the fact 3 of their 4 key defensive players didnt start??
Isnt it funny only team who scored more than a goal against Tueky in WC other than Brazil is S.Korea.
