Newcomer of the year award (different from rookie of the year, which is for players with no prior pro experience):

Would be cool if Emilio won Golden Boot, MVP and Newcomer of the year. Doubt it though. Two out of three is possible. Matter of fact, EJ is probably the only "non-newcomer" in contention for MVP, so between our guy, Toja, Angel, and dark horses like Schelotto, Galindo, its likely for someone to get both awards.
Kudos to Fred too, he has come on strong after a slow start.
