You might want to go back in time a few days :)
That game was Thursday :D
The NE game is on CSN - but Id go look at that "broadcast changes" thread (I have not yet, can you tell)?
I assume it is on the MLSnet internet thingie. I haven't looked at that since they started charging for it.

No. He/She's talking about the real Chivas -- our Copa Sudamericana match against CD Guadelajara at home, which is in 2 1/2 weeks. That's why he/she talks about it being difficult to go to RFK.
EDIT: As for the question itself, I dunno. There's nothing up on United's website about TV coverage at present.

Last time around this tournament was covered by FSC. My guess is they are on it again. Don't know, however.

Will they matter when we play them?

Fox Sports Espanol has been airing the Copa Sudamericana games thus far, so I imagine Fox has the TV rights to the tournament.
As noted, FSC televised United's Copa Sud games in 2005.

It WILL be on Fox SPorts en Espanol. BUT since DC are playing a team from Mexico: we will be out of getting the Argentine feed for this game (see DC- U Catolica) Instead we will either get the ULTRA BAIS PRO MEXICAN Based out of a studio in Miami, Jorge Ramos and his "Know it all" partner Perreria, or GOD HELP US the feed from Mexico....

You mean that "other" Chivas that DC will have played twice as many matches against after Sudamericana than against the USA version?

About the same as when we play Richmond, or Tottenham :)
I think it's great when United play anyone and beat them, but if we're playing some team once or twice in some tournament or in a friendly I really don't think about them ever except when we're playing them.
Chivas USA is a team in our league, and therefor in our way of winning the SS or MLS Cup trophy, so yes I care alot more about them that the other Chivas.
Frankly, I like it when we play a bit more of a variety of other international teams rather than keep playing the goats in all these different tourneys, I'm bored with them already ;) That, and most teams that play MLS teams for the first time tend to think we all suck like Colorado, Chivas Mexico knows better - I don't like that either ;)

So in other words, MUTE button ON. Jorge Ramos is OK, but his peers are unbearable. I guess another option (though laborious) is to time Radio America's cast to TV's muted broadcast. Radio runs a couple seconds faster than TV, so you just need to pause the game until sound and video are synched. I would do it at home if I werent so lazy
