All:
I am uncertain where to get information on our card accumulations and the associated points.
Anyone know how we stand with cards for the coming games?
After last night, I was wondering how many Vanney and Burch had to go before a suspension.

Gomez and now Vanney are the only players in yellow peril. Next yellow and they sit a game.
Boswell, Fred, Olsen and Moreno (and Gros) are two yellows from sitting. I'm not sure if Namoff is now two yellows away either but I wouldn't be surprised.
EDIT: Burch should be two yellows away from sitting also.

Go to dcunited.com, click on News. DC maintains this list separately from league's maintenance of the league-wide list, but they don't give a "Date updated." So another, more robust approach would be to then click on "View All Discipline," which gives you info for all teams; note the "Date Updated" on that page; and figure in what's happened in any games since.

It's a bit confusing right now, from the web page. The list in DCU's "News" section differs from what's on MLSnet's page dated 9/4, which suggests that it's been updated. But if so, then Vanney should be listed as one card from suspension, since he was two cards away on 9/4 and he got one last night.
Anyway, MLSnet + what's happened since suggests:
Gomez, Vanney: one card away.
Boswell, Fred, Gros, Moreno, Olsen: two cards away.
Namoff, Burch: Not sure, but probably two cards away.

How do the sub-points work (I am making up this term).
Don't they also assign points to each card, and are the points the main basis for suspension?
I don't see any points mentioned, so they may have done away with it altogether (or it may be one of the mystical, magical, wonderful things about our friends at MLS).

I have a vague memory of what you're talking about, but I don't see any sign of it this year. I think this year a yellow is a yellow is a yellow.

I thought I had seen, a few weeks back, that Gomez was two games away from where they give you a break when you go 5 games with no card when you are on the warning list - whatever they call that, a "good conduct" point or something..... is he still in suspension peril then?
Or am I just really confused? More than usual.
I thought at first when I saw this thread title that Ray was saying he wanted a spanking .......

I have 238 more hours of community service and seven more weekends to serve in jail, but my lawyer says ... wait ... oh! Never mind.

Yeah, I was expecting a pic with some whips and chains. Soo disappointed! ;)
I think Dave said last night that Namoff would be sitting on Sunday (but maybe I was half asleep).

Yellow Peril sounds like the title for a WWII era propaganda film.

Well this certainly would nice and breezy while I'm standing over a hot grill! ;)
OK, Namoff isn't out. Dave thought maybe he was at the limit but it seems a yellow has disappeared ("good behavior clause"?) or Dave noted it wrong.
