As well as not understanding baseball, I don't understand who the MLS works either. :o But this seems a pretty poor state of affairs?

I can't figure out how players of Dev caliber has anything to do with the USMNT.

Mods, please merge with the MLS thread(s) on this subject.

And if MLS should tell you "Sign right here"
And if MLS tempts you with its charms

Tell them no no no no no-no-no-no
No no no no no-no-no-no
No no no no no
Don't hurt me now for my career belongs to me

And if MLS should tell you "Sign right here"
And if MLS tempts you with its charms

Tell them no no no no no-no-no-no
No no no no no-no-no-no
(don't take my future options away)
No no no no no
Don't hurt me now for my career belongs to me

I know MLS is the kind of league
Who'd throw my life away
But I still want to play
Don't hurt me now, don't hurt me now

If MLS tells you "Sign right here"
Just remember they said that to me

Tell them no no no no no-no-no-no
No no no no no-no-no-no
(don't take that development contract)
No no no no no
Don't sign with them try for better luck elsewhere
