So we got the movie and book thread, why not start up a thread dedicated to my favorite of the 5 senses. Hopefully this becomes a good way to share music. I'm eager to discover new artists or hidden talents.

You may already know this....but actually "New Slang" is from the "Oh Inverted World" album. "Fighting in a Sack" is the much newer EP (or whatever they're calling those 4-5 song releases now.....it's also the title of one of the tracks on "Chutes to Narrow." If you like this EP, you should really get both of those albums, as well as the latest.... "Wincing the Night Away."

Basically, just get it all, because it's all really, really good. BTW, they're playing Merriweather here in MD in October, and Spoon is opening. I'm pretty psyched.

yah, i go to umass. just checked out vampire's myspace and caught a few clips of them. they sound good and unique. i like em. how did you find them? how can i get some of their stuff?
