There are tons of "home-grown" non-standard Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) solutions out there. Just take your +12V, put it on an unused pair at the source, and split it back out at the other end. Lets you hide all the wallwarts at the service hub.

I don't know what the practical limitations of using spare pairs for power are, but it's pretty straightforward.
