We get the Fighting Titus Brambles at home this week. It's going to be aired on tape delay on FSC, I forget the time (4 or 6 EST I think).

At any rate, possibly no Sibierski for them, while we're pretty much fighting fit except for at right back. Most important, Titus Bramble plays for Wigan now, not us. Of course with our luck he'll score a hat trick.

2-0 to the good, methinks.

Wigan midfielder Antoine Sibierski has claimed former Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd is to blame for the Magpies' failure to win a trophy during his tenure.

After a turbulent 10 years in charge of United, Shepherd stepped down on July 24 following new owner Mike Ashley's takeover of the club the previous month.

The 33-year-old Frenchman, now with Wigan after leaving Newcastle, returns to St James' Park.

And he believes Shepherd was ``not good enough''.

``As a Newcastle fan, as I am, I was very happy when Shepherd left the club because he is the reason why they have not won anything for a long time,'' insisted Sibierski.

``I was only there for a year but I could see what kind of chairman he was.

``I'm not saying this because I was upset with him when he changed his mind over me signing a new contract which I had agreed with Glenn Roeder.

``It's because as a chairman I never saw him once last year come and see us to have a meeting, or speak to us about results and aims we should have had.

``Compared to the other chairmen I have seen throughout my life and career, he was not a good chairman.

``I don't know him as a man, maybe he was a good man, but as a chairman he was simply not good enough.''

Sibierski has started his Latics career in stunning fashion with three goals in his first three games to help Wigan to a surprise third place in the league.

He's only saying what everyone else knows. And for future reference, please post the link and then a few significant quotes. Otherwise it's a pain to read.

From the NUFC Match Preview (http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/staticFiles/56/7c/0,,10278~97366,00.doc), the MS WORD file that is an awesome accompianment to the game...

And finally, the only two teams United have not lost away to in the Premier League are Birmingham and Sunderland.

Thx,

Jay!

2-0 N'Zog and Martins continue their form. I am curious to see if N'Zog plays in the midfield and who plays in the back 4.

Actual bets from paddypower on line betting on Shambles performance.

red carded @ 33/1
score an OG @ 33/1

Yeah, it's chopping at times, I don't think it's my computer either. What Asian language is this?

Funny stuff from the crowd, singing, One Titus Bramble, there's only one Titus Bramble after his clearance. The annoucnsers were having a bit of chuckle about that almost handball call, maybe dogging Bramble out.

Only game with no goals in the first half! How many chances can Smith and Butt blow?

4:30 Eastern for the FSC delayed air. At least that's what my DirecTV guide tells me.

After that sending off, the Lads have to turn up the pace and go for the beatdown. No excuses, up a man, play smart and wear them down.

Yeah I hear you, I'm watching it now. For some odd reason I just didn't even remember it was Saturday so I didn't set my alarm. Oh well. I could have waited but whatever.
