The authorities of the Home Depot Center violated FIFA law by not allowing Pachuca FC to recognize and practice in the Depot’s the pitch, even though Pachuca sent a 3 day advanced noticed.
Then last night, Pachuca was assign a field inside the Galaxy’s sport complex to practice, but when the team arrived to the field was covered in complete darkness. “Apparently someone forgot to pay the electric bill” That was the explanation given to Pachuca’s Sports Directive Andress Fassi.
Pachuca was the redirected to another field, but once again the teams practice would have to be postponed due to an official woman’s game. “Must have been a last minute scheduling” was the next idiotic explanation Mr. Fassi was given.
The clubs fitness trainer decided to conduct wherever practice they could do in a 100 square foot meadow near the futbol fields.
Shameful Treatment…
Pachuca’s President was quite upset with the treatment his team has received. “When foreign Clubs come to Mexico they always receive the royal treatment, they get to practice in the best installations and never suffer any “Cheap Tricks” I’m really sick of this and sick of FIFA’s preferential treatment. FIFA is very strict with FMF clubs, we even get faxed Memos on their mandates when we get to host a foreign club in Copa Libertadores of Concacaf Champions, but apparently this rules do not apply to South American or Gringo clubs.

I'm not surprised the Galaxy seem like a low class operation.

The Galaxy is a desperate team, they're trying to get any advantage they can get. Pachuca is a complete team, while Galaxy has hit rock bottom.
This won't be a problem, Pachuca is going to win 2-0.

The same thing happened when Pachuca played Colo Colo from Chile in the Sudamericana final. The team went to practice and the lights were turned off. IIRC, Pachuca had to get some generators and construction lights so they could practice or something like that. Funny thing is, all MLS supporters complain about how classless mexicans are based of the actions of one or two individuals/players, yet they fail to see the lack of class in one of their whole organizations/clubs.

Pachuca don't even need to practice. In fact, they could all probably go get wasted at some cantina before the game and still win.

I call bullshit on this "story". There isn't even a source cited, let alone a link to an actual story. This is just more urban legend crap from mexican supporters. Kinda like the urban legend that says there are all kinds of players in the ethnic leagues that could be starting on MLS rosters. If only MLS would scout those leagues we would find the next Blanco.

or kind of like the one that says DC United couldn't win a tournament with a bunch of pre-season mexican teams, or the modern champions cup... gotta love those myths

This story is unfortunate and sad if true, but I'm sure there is another perspective on whatever happened. Also, I would like to see a more official source for the story mentioned by the original poster.

its all over the news and radio, what more do you want? espn radio, unfortuneately the galaxy doesnt know the meaning of fair play, and seem pretty desperate. What pisses me off more is that it happen to pachuca a team, thats humble and great in a sense that they always provide the best for their rivals when they come. SOME one forgot to pay the electric bill?lol and redirected to another field where there was a game going on? and had to practice in a meadow? wow that sucks.

As a Galaxy fan for a while I gota say this is Bush league and embarrasing. The way the team has been run this whole season is an embarrasment. The Tuzos are going to come in extra motivated now and we will only win by a miracle. They outplayed us last time.
