UFC's putting on kind of a loaded show here to help get further into the European market. Here are some guesses as to what makes the live show and what gets taped first for later viewing if there's time remaining:
Live matches:
UFC/Pride 205 lb. Unification: Quinton Jackson vs. Dan Henderson
Mirko Cro Cop vs. Cheick Kongo
Michael Bisping vs. Matt Hamill
Houston Alexander vs. Alessio Sakara
Marcus Davis vs. Paul Taylor
Taped matches:
Thiago Silva vs. Tomasz Drwal
Jess Liaudin vs. Anthony Johnson
Gleison Tibau vs. Terry Etim
Naoyuki Kotani vs. Dennis Siver
-- Those four top matches could be at least really good. I will be firmly parked on the couch for this one.
-- I'm thinking Rampage steps it up against another quality opponent, though Henderson will make him work for it.
-- It gets no easier for Cro Cop against Kongo, though I think Cro Cop will pull it off. Hopefully he's learned to keep his hands up.
-- Bisping's fighting really well right now and I think he gets a LHW title shot within the next year.
-- Alexander's a bad, bad man and I'm looking forward to seeing him fight again.
Thoughts?

"-- I'm thinking Rampage steps it up against another quality opponent, though Henderson will make him work for it."
Henderson is a tough guy he can win and unless he get's clipped in the face like Lodell got clipped. If not Henderson will probably win.

Cro Cop will probably win.

"-- Bisping's fighting really well right now and I think he gets a LHW title shot within the next year."
There was a post made recent;y by a deaf soccer fan from England. I told him take in this fight because the guy Bisping is fighting Matt Hamel an American is an former wrestler is deaf. He is being trained by Tito Ortiz. Bisping should win.

--" Alexander's a bad, bad man and I'm looking forward to seeing him fight again."
Well he ate the Dean of Mean for breakfast no doubt about that. He was rocked just before he did that so let's wait and see if he can do it again.

1. Isn't this one going to be free on Spike?
2. For those that purchase PPV's, I know they air the fights that are live and occasionally fill in some of the taped matches for filler if the live fights go too quickly, but do they show the rest of the taped matches at the end of a PPV bout? A lot of the time the taped matches are sometimes better than the live matches.
3. That card looks sick. Hammil v. Bisping should be a hell of a fight...thought I wasn't super impressed with Hammil and my guess is that he is going to be a little over his head against Bisping.

He'll need to keep those hands up against Kongo. Kongo is long and wiry and I've seen him unleash some high kicks.
-- Bisping's fighting really well right now and I think he gets a LHW title shot within the next year.
Bisping has been great and UFC is really pushing him in England. Hamill has some talent. He's still learning though and will really be overmatched in this fight. I expect The Count to dominate while Hamill just tries defending from his back.
-- Alexander's a bad, bad man and I'm looking forward to seeing him fight again.
He just unleashed about 15 years of rage when he crushed Jardine. Ever since then I've looked forward to watching him again to see if that was a one-time fight for him or if it's sustainable.

Sometimes the PPVs have shown the taped matches after all the live fights and sometimes they don't. I haven't figured out how they decide though.

"1. Isn't this one going to be free on Spike?"
Yes,this is free for the US fan. I love free.
"2 For those that purchase PPV's, I know they air the fights that are live and occasionally fill in some of the taped matches for filler if the live fights go too quickly, but do they show the rest of the taped matches at the end of a PPV bout?"
No they don't, but they should. You can go to the UFC site a month from the bout and download any fights not shown on PPV for 1.99 per bout you get them for 3 days.
I do that sometimes, and when I want to see an old bout that I have not scene already.
"A lot of the time the taped matches are sometimes better than the live matches."
That's true I enjoyed the Crane fight in 74 I knew he would lose but his BJJ is top draw.
3. That card looks sick. Hammil v. Bisping should be a hell of a fight...thought I wasn't super impressed with Hammil and my guess is that he is going to be a little over his head against Bisping.
I agree.

It all comes down to time left after the scheduled live fights.
If there are a bunch of early finishes and they've got, for example, 30 minutes left in the broadcast, they'll stick in whatever taped matches they have the time to.

I was watching the countdown show tonight and I still can't believe the fights they have lined up for Saturday! This is a show I would definitely pay for if I had to.
My predictions for the big 3 fights:
Henderson in the 2nd round.
Cro Cop in the 2nd.
Bisping in the 3rd.

This is totally a more stacked show than the PPV in a couple of weeks - again, I really think they're trying to grow the brand in the UK (especially with Bisping right there).
Also, 3 PM PPVs in the US during the second week of college football season probably aren't the best idea.
But yeah, I'd throw down some money for this show in a second.
-- Rampage by split decision.
-- Cro Cop in the 3rd.
-- Bisping in the 3rd.

Jackson Henderson I don't wanna make a prediction but I do want Rampage to win
Crocop should be a stand up war with congo being the only other fighter with worse ground skills than Cro Cop
I am taking Hamill over bisbing because of his really strong wrestling.

I am taking Hamill over bisbing because of his really strong wrestling.you didn't take into account the fact the evidently UFC is as corrupt as boxing and they would just hand the fight to bisbing to play to the crowd.
what a joke.

That judging was an absolute travesty. Hamill was completely robbed.
UFC wants to grow but then they have a fight like that happen. Dana White should be ashamed. Rogan and Goldie should face mockery every time they announce a match now that they didn't once bring up what a farce that was.
Hamill was class in a tainted defeated and the crowd even applauded him because they knew who the real winner was.

Hamill wasn't clearly aggressive enough. He had Bisping on the mat at least twice but allowed him to get back up. Poor showing of aggression in those instances.
Don't think that Cro Cop is built for the octagon. He could've done better against Kongo.
Alexander simply lit up Sakara.
Loved the main event.

joke.

Hamil won that fight.
Worst decision I have every saw in my life was in boxing the Patterson v Ellis fight.
The World Boxing Association (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Boxing_Association) staged an eight-man tournament to determine Ali's successor. Patterson, in a third and final attempt at winning the title a third time, lost a controversial fifteen-round referee's decision to Jimmy Ellis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Ellis) in Sweden despite breaking Ellis' nose and knocking Ellis down.
