I couldn't find any newer thread, except Cottbus and Bochum all Bundesliga clubs have a thread in the new club forum. There is some discussion on Cottbus in the east german soccer thread, but Hansa Rostock has a separate thread, too...
Bojan Prasnikar is the new coach. He won the Slovenian Championship several times and managed to lead NK Maribor to the Champions League group phase a few years ago. In his fist game Cottbus were held to a draw at home against Frakfurt after leading 2:0 at half time. Still, scoring two goals is a first for Cottbus this season.

Could someone tell me how the Cypriot player Alonheftis is doing at Cottbus. I was just checking soccernet and noticed that he has not been playing much for the club!

Don't know why he didn't play lately. Might be injured or out of form. He made 5 or 6 games at the beginning of the season ... and is out since matchday 7.

the teams i hate lose...but in the end it worked out to the teams i support getting their asses kicked, and the other (Freiburg) getting really lucky for an AWFUL 0:0 against offenbach...
so the atmosphere has changed a bit :p

Prasnikar definitely has!
I always thought that after Sander took a not-so-strong Cottbus side into the first division and then also kept that weak side in the division, that it would be VERY tough for any manager to follow in his footsteps after the Cottbus management(foolishly, in my opinion) fired him, but Prasnikar proved me wrong by doing an excellent job with Energie!
