Today Tuesday 28.08.07 19.30h live @ DSF

Back to the roots game for Ottmar since he was coach in Zürich from 1988-91
The match will be the last in the Stadion Hardturm before it is closed.

according to fcbayern.de Podolski and Ismael will play and Ottmar wants to take as much regulars as possible to the game so i hope we don't see a B-Squad today.

I am very interested in how Podolski does, and would like to see both him and Ismael in playing condition again. If things go well, what does everyone see as the odds are on him starting on Sunday?

I think that Podolski will start on sunday if Toni and Klose are unfit. If Klose is fit I see Podolski comming on in the second half.

FCBAYERN.de reports the following: Ottl, Van Buyton, Ismael, Podolski to start... also...
In truth, the head coach has few options at the present time, as Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose, Jan Schlaudraff, Willy Sagnol, Jose Ernesto Sosa, Marcell Jansen and Mats Hummels are all injured, while Toni Kroos is appearing for Germany at the U-17 World Cup.

Possible Lineups then:

...............Rensing
Lell....Ismael...VanBuyton...Lahm
............Ottl....ZeRoberto.........
Ailtontop.................Schweini...
.................Ribery..................
................Podolski..................

Only subs then are Wagner, Fürstner and potentially some Bayern II players that have been used in the past, such as Celozzi, Saba.

Not terribly surprising, but certainly not the outcome I was hoping for.

it was nice to see some bench players get a run-off, and it was even better that our normal starters Ze Roberto, Lahm, etc. didn't get injured
