Actual quotes in the article from Rio Ferdinand.
"We don’t have any respect for him, we don’t like him. I think he’s a bad guy and he can’t coach."
Wow.

Maybe I'm just too cynical but what if Ole uses the club to get a jumpstart in his coaching career, leaves United and has success as a manager elsewhere then takes over Liverpool(the club he supported as a boy) and leads them to a new golden era? Wouldn't that be some twisted, messed up irony? I think I'd shoot myself in the head.

back to topic, sdot, so did you get your tickets for this game?
I am in 2 minds whether to make the trip or not. It is dependent on whether I can finish my current assignment in the next couple of weeks or not.

They haven't gone on general sale yet, and I'm slightly worried that they may not make it. I will be in Manchester regardless and will attempt to scalp one if necessary. If you were a member of One United from 07-08 you can put in an application now. I was from 06-07, but didn't renew as it didn't have much worth to me.
Also, I'm sure the Juventus friendly is going to go the same way, so I'll have to be on my edge of the seat hoping for that one. If you're making a trip cr7, it's the perfect week -
August 2 - Ole's Testimonial at OT
August 4 - Friendly at London Road, Peterborough
August 6 - Friendly against Juventus at OT
August 10 - Community Shield at Wembley
I'm going to attempt all 4, I already have the August 4th ticket and Community Shield tickets will be easily got on the day of.

Hey CR7 - One United memberships for 08-09 just opened up today, and I just emailed the club asking if 08-09 members will be able to apply for Ole's testimonial as well as the Juve game. If they say yes, I'll probably do it, as it would mean a lot better chance than general sale.
Bex, if you see this and know anything about it, I'd appreciate it. The site's website for Ole's match said 07-08 One United members could apply, but maybe they haven't updated it since 08-09 became available. Thanks alot for your help.
