Why am I not surprised? They should go back to judging only on physical qualities.

Saw the video posted over in the Politics forum... haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet, but I hear AC Slater is superb in it.

who cares how daft her answer was.

They should have her bake something or wipe down a room. Not until then can we see her real qualities (unless she is willing to go on pay tv.)

jk.:p:D

P.S. Please, someone, save those poor and uneducated Iraqis and South Africans.

LOL, it's so obvious she tried to remember all the answers to all the possible questions and accidently got about 4 different answers got mixed up :D

I had to write it out to see how stupid it actually was :D

Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can't locate ths US on a world map. Why do you think this is?

I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so, because some people out there in our nation don't have maps, and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and The Iraq, everywhere like such as. And I believe they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build our future for us.

This makes me rethink my first reaction if I'd meet her. I'll probably punch her in the face instead of trying to get in her pants.

In any event, she's only 16 or 17, young Americans shouldn't be expected to know things like this anyway.

She is actually about 10000 times more famous now than the actual winner, whoever it was.
Smart career move on her part, she's already started going to morning shows

I don't see what the big deal is -- she's illustrating the problem perfectly. Kudos to her for showing us how dire stupid we really are. My favorite part is when she says "The Iraq": you have to ignore a shitload of news for many years to get that wrong.
