Arsenal is intrested in his services, since Seamens is bound for Man City, they need a new GK, but they stated that it will be hard for the time being to get him a work permit, since he has not alot of international apprearences.

Although Fenerbahce is infact intrested in him and are in close talks with him!

He said that he doesn't want to come back to hapoel! And i couldn't agree more! Hapoel are stealing there players money...

bunch of thiefs from yaffo!

i heard it in haaretzdaily....but its only reports, nothing serious... Get a chill pill zivy!!!!

But i think that if he left ANYWHERE, than hapoel would welcome this as much as Shavit, cause they do want to replace him with Nir Rachman, remember?

Apparently, HTA fans rioted outside team headquarters yesterday. Beyond, Elimelech, the team has still had one
largest mass exoduses of talents in an off season. Unless they have some good replacements in mind, this team will be terrible next year.

Eventhough, i wish only death for this team, and i hate there guts and so...i think that they will start looking for players by august. In August is where the full players who haven't been signed, the prodigy players and the players many israeli teams gets abroad are likely to be singed. Looking at the nature right now, i think that hapoel will want to do that.

hapoel now needs a couple of brazilian players imo, and maybe some argentinans...
But then again, i doubt that they will do that. They still depend largely on there youth squad and there is alot of success in there youth squad. So if the team is in bad shape, it will only take them 3 years to rebound, unlike Ashsdod who probably are one the big shots for 2003/2004 and yet, most of there bought players are aroud 28.4 years of age...crazy!!!

Shavits deal is being finalized and in another 36 hours he will probably know his terms and contract!!

Let wish Eliemelch the best if he decides to go to Turkey or Europe in that matter!

It seems like Ashdod is loading up for the next season or two. It may not be a bad strategy. If they can use the next couple of years to establish themselves as a higher tier team, maybe they can then build on that. They claim to have a large youth program, but my admitedly limited knowledge of Israeli soccer does not extend to the youth programs. So I have no idea if they are talking trash or not.

There talking Rubbish. All i know is that Ashdod manage to make alot of money from there dealings. They were a team that almost been relegated last season and they haven't done much in terms of strategy. They can have Figo, Zola and Berkovic for all i care, but there gonna still be bad. Its the formation. There players are good and i think that next season, they will be a strong team, cause they bought players like crazy, but most of there players are average age is 29... Meaning that there old. There youth system is good, but average, and in theory, this is what my conclusion is...

1) there team is made into a good players, having a lot of strategy and alot of veterans.
2) Most veterans will like to stay in for 2-6 years MAX!!!
3) When having alot of players in that age, there prodigy player (youth team) will want to start...Many players want to be with Ashdod Senior level, and if now at age 16-17-18..they want a shot...by the age of 20, they will not get one, cause the veterans are more dependent and the youth team will dwindle and many would be bought by other teams...
4) The team will turn out like the NHL team Detroit Red wings...

Hey, the Red Wings have picked up some hardware a couple of times over the last decade. I'm guessing if Ashdod can become the Red Wings, they'll be happy with their investment, even if they go through some lean years in the future.

Well you see..the problem between the NHL and the Israeli Leauge is that in the israeli leauge you get relegated and you lose ALOT of money and in the NHL, unless your down in debt, you can surely pick up where you left off in about 10 years. The worst teams get good prospects from school..Where do soccer get its players from?
