jones is unpopular among writers.
He is considered to be just a thug and not a good player.

he wasnt really known for playing dirty...
he was controversial but not really a hard player.

Yeah, but 7 places behind Hunter??? :confused: Also I doubt anyone on that list would last more than about 10 seconds in a stand-up fist fight with the fella at number 48 :D Actually they wouldn't even last that long. You could see that from the bust-up between Lee and Hunter in the clip. Typical footballers punch-up... handbags at 10 paces.
Anyway, there's a difference between just being a dickhead and a true hard-man. A hard-man should be able to play a bit as well.
