View Full Version : Arsenal/Chelsea at Stamford?

My wife and I are deciding whether or not to make a trip to London the week after Easter. Unfortunately, the Gunners don't play at the Emirates that week. They do play at Chelsea during our stretch there.
Low priority question for whoever can answer it: are AA tickets available for this match? Is it worth going to Stamford to at least see Arsenal away? We might not make a final decision for another month or so, but this is a somewhat determining factor (for me, anyway :D). Cost isn't so much a factor at this point -- just trying to see what's feasible.
Thanks!

Yes provided both you and your wife are ArseAm members.

...Ok. It's up to you whether or not you want to see Arsenal or not really isn't it. What would make it worth going, I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you want to watch Arsenal you have to travel anyway, Chelsea's ground (Stamford BRIDGE) is nearest to Fulham Broadway tube on the District Line in South London, probably a half hour tube journey from central London. Nothing extreme.
My advice would be if you are serious about going decide soon otherwise others may request tickets and get them ahead of you, therefore preventing you going if you do decide you want to.
And in future please PM "aa tickets" with ticket queries as in this thread http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=12572988#post12572988 - starting a new thread isn't really warranted.

I think if you asked those who've been to away matches, and matches at Chelsea, Scum and Merchandising Utd in particular, that they'd say it was a fantastic experience. Away support tends to be more vocal and, on the whole, more fun.

Don't want to be a pedant but..IT'S STAMFORD BRIDGE:mad: Stamford is a place miles away from London.
And while we're on the subject it's 'LIVERPOOL'...not 'POOL'
Here endeth todays rant..carry on
