I notice that there are alot more City fans posting than there were last season (dont blame ya, seeing how crud we were under SP)
So I'll start.
I was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester. Still live here for half the year. The other half I spend in Hull.
But I still manage to get to every home and away game.
So its not too bad.
How about you lot?

I barrack for City, Because it was the first EPL game i ever saw, Man City Vs Newcastle. 1-0 to us, With Darren Huckerby scoring near halftime.

I grew up outside Manchester, no not that one, but the small industrial city in New Hampshire, USA. I went to Maine Road a couple of times in the 90s, and I've also been to Manchester, Connecticut and Manchester, Massachusetts. Yes, there's a reason why this part of the country is called New England. ;)

I'm from Toronto, Canada, but originally from China. Most EPL fans in Canada are either Man Utd, Liverpool, Chealsea, or Arsenal supporters. I feel like a lone wolf. However, it feels good to be different. I keep on telling them, I support Manchester City... CITY, not utd. ha ha ha.

Down the road from Manchester...Washington. I have a friend who is a Steward for Man City. I feel sorry for him though! Not so much last year but this year I do. Should be a good year for City!

Hi
I'm originally from Manchester, England. A Blue supporter and in the 2000-2001 season was a crowd steward in the Upper Kippax, loved it, fantastic supporters and atmosphere. Born in Gorton, family moved to Stockport, also lived in Wilmslow and latterly in Wythenshawe (just off Altrincham Road).
Came to live near Toronto, Canada in 2001. Thank goodness we can get the EPL on TV here, although our cable subscriber has yet to sign-up with the new supplier Setanta, come on Cogeco what are you doing?!*! So instead of 5 matches at the week-end, we can only see 2.
Our team are doing fantastically well, playing as if they've been together for months and actually passing the ball to each other! Vast improvement on last year.
Come on you Blues

I'm from Hong Kong, China. Not many City fans here. Most are fans of the big 4.

I'm from outside Philadelphia... You ever notice how you can even root harder for your team when your surrounded by supporters of a different squad. As City fan in Philly and perhaps most of the usa (except northern VA for some reason), you are the minority and thats cool.

I can't believe there has been a sudden flurge of activity on here. Last season there was a serious drought on lol. I was born in York in North East England. I haven't supported City all my life and I am not a traditional supporter in that it has ran through my family blood, but I love the club as much as anyone else and I have experienced many highs and lows already, although nothing compared to the older generation of supporters. Next season I hope to attend many more matches than I currently do so when I get a car (hopefully) and a job. I've supported City for a few years now at the time when Keegan's era was coming to an end and I've been to COMS a few times, the most recent to see them against Spurs when they lost 2-1 last season on a cold December night! Lovely! I also go to see them at local away games, like at Boro. I started to support City when I became interested in football again a fews years ago, like i said before, but I did not support a team previously and I was really just a general watcher of Premiership football.

Ah, a fellow resident of sunny Wythenshawe. :D
Which part of Wythenshawe was Altrincham Road? Northern Moor right? Or was it Newall Green?

Hi all, I've just been alerted to this thread. Well I live in Marple Bridge near Stockport, UK. Originally from Denton, Manchester. I actually see the stadium every day on my way to work as I'm on the train passing Ashburys station and there is a great view of it from the 2nd floor of my workplace (which also p*ssed my former boss off as he was a red and had to see it everyday). I don't have a season ticket any more - stopped going years ago - looks like I might regret that this year.

Boston, Mass. Never even been to England, but look, I'm not one of the Big Four-"supporting" losers from this side of the ocean.

New supporter of Man City here residing just outside (Waterloo) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Came on board after the inception of TFC and realized that I need a BPL team to cheer for. As previously mentioned everyone and their mother cheers for the big 4 in this part of the world, so I thought I'd latch onto a club looking to crack the big four and City was the right choice.
After sitting in the bar full of United supporters and cheered on my Blues to victory, I felt like David and Golith as the final whistle blew. I am also very impressed with the resilliance of City as they always find ways to score right after being scored upon. I think this will be a be a wonderful relation and I can't wait to fly across the pond and take in a game.
Let's go you Blues!

I hear ya brother. I live in Toronto and it's over-run with big 4 supporters. I am surprised you cheered for City in a bar full of Utd supporters, what if they are hooligans and decide to pick a fight with you? ha ha ha. Nevertheless, I admire your bravery.

Haha...I'm a pretty solid looking guy...I don't usually get into fights because I can take a little abuse and ribbing and show humility when things don't work out in my favour. Besides I had lots to cheer about and I think most supporters in Canada are at least sensible because they far away from their team. I mean its not like any of the teams that win the league are going to come across the pond to Canada and thank their supporters for the season.
We are like secondary support to the foreign teams and because of that I think more people are sensible in recognizing it is just a game. Still the Hooligans will always exist.
