Man, I just saw this on Sky Sports News.

This is a perfect signing for Keller (who gets another chance to play in a top flight league), Fulham (Tony Warner has been dissapointing) and of course all of us. :D

4 Americans!

Wow.

Fulham obviously felt pressure from Reading and Derby in the who can sign the most Americans sweepstakes.

I would like to see four healthy Americans all on the field at the same time for Fulham.

To provide context for the above let me just say two things: GC performance, Copa America performance.
You'd better hope Warner doesn't give way to Keller, because although a very very fine keeper up to two years ago Kasey has fallen far, fast.
Great, now there are three Yanks on Fulham that can embarass themselves on almost a gamely basis [and the fourth one, the one who did not embarass himself, is maybe clobbered beyond hope of return].
Bloody Great

Yea, I don't think Keller's what he used to be, but good for him. I hope he does well, and Fulham stays up. I'll be watching the Fulham/Blackburn/Reading games for sure now. Would have been nice if they had gotten like Guzan or something because he's still relatively young. So how long til they sign Donovan?

I've been a huge keller fan since his freshman year at portland and so I really hope that you are wrong. He has had a tendency to react very well to fresh starts so we could see a very good keller...or if you're right about his fall, I think he's capable of a very decent comeback.

Keller would've been a GREAT pickup 2 years ago, but now he'll be at least respectable compared to what Warner has given. He's still got quality even with his age, and I thought he'd be a good backup plan to Schmeichel at Man City 'till Issakson comes back.

I think it'll be a good move all around, but if you're expecting greatness, look at his old Tottenham/USMNT clips for that.

You're a moron . . Keller presided over two shutouts, and conceded one goal in a 2-1 win over Canada, which was almost botched because of Gooch's s stupidity, not Keller's.

As for Copa America, we fielded a C/D team in front of a world class keeper. You must be kidding me if you think thats representative of Keller's ability. You now have zero credibility in the valuation of any player.

It's amazing to see you so arrogant after a win, a loss, and a draw. The season hasn't yet started, kid. Give it some time, save your sh*t talk for another day.

Bloody Great

Wanker.

I'd rep if I could. :'(

To be fair...

C/D squad at the Copa?? That is true... But Keller also looked markedly old and slow... There were definitely balls that hit the net that he would have he would have had 5 years ago...

As for Fulham being a showcase for US player embarrassment... not entirely, although you can make a strong case that Bocanegra has been a pitch fool for the last 10 days...

We're not, we're expecting him to fill for Antii Niemi until he is fit again, and then be a solid 2nd keeper for the rest of this season.

But someone who dishes out "embarasses" for "embarass" sure can
