• Two more coaches fall in Brazil (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=455412&cc=5901)

This is just ridiculous. What gives?

When there is a winless streak, people are afraid of being relegated so they fire the coach and hire a new one.

In Brazil, every team believes they have a shot at the title. In other leagues, teams would be satisfied with some lower positions because the stronger teams are ahead of them and maybe they did a little bit better than expected.

Wanting to win is all fine and good but this is taking it to extremes. Constantly changing leadership based on performance over a short span is not a good model for any organization.

I agree, but that is the mindset down there. Usually when a team falls to the second division, it takes a long time for them to come back up.
