I'd wait to see if he's good enough. Has been lucky so far made some big errors and got away with them. The fact he has Dunne and Richards playing well gives him that bit more protection.

You expect it from a young keeper. He has a good ten years to develop. He has been thrown in the deep end so it will be interesting to see whether Sven signs another keeper or leaves Kasper to it and we'll see what he is like when he has mentally adjusted.

His father would actually physically murder him.

He showed a great potential today, here's hoping he only grows more.

Schmeichel junior wouldn't be having it. And as impressive as Kasper has been, the English media are getting carried away yet again because Robinson is a screwup for the national team and James is getting older so they are clitching onto straws. I wouldn't mind it happening, but hes four games into his City career and for a goalkeeper of only 20 years of age in the Premier League he needs to ride the wave and we can't expect too much from him at once.

I...probably like many else thought he was going to steal points from the Arsenal game, especially after he saved that penality kick. How awesome would it have been had he deflected that ball into the Arsenal goal in extra time to try up the game? Oh I can only dream!

Same here. That would have been better than a city win with a regular goal.

Who am I kidding, it would have been nice but not better than a city win:cool:

Schmeichel will probably take over Isaksson's spot if he keeps playing like he has. City is tied with ManU in clean sheets and the poll on the premiership page, Schmeichel is considered to be the biggest up and coming keeper right now. He might actually end up just like his father, who was a legend.

Bah. I don't think Kasper should of been dropped, It paid off. But Kasper > Joe atm.

In my opinion, England is going to need a keeper like Kasper, I won't be suprised if they actually get Kasper to drop Denmark and come to England, and maybe (and thats a big maybe) even play him in the next world cup (if he progresses and grows right).
