Probably could wait to start this thread until after the gold cup, but just feel like jumping the gun. Anyways, heres a list of totally new faces in MLS that I wouldnt mind getting a look see at by Bruce Arena, although I lead this open to players from abroad. Doesnt mean every one should be called up, just the ones that should be considered as being on the fringe. Some of these guys Ive picked more for the potential they are showing, and may be more down the line.

I wouldnt expect more than a 3-5 of these guys to actually stick with the Nats for any length of time, this is just a look at who might have nats potential in the next 3 years.

Im sure there will be plenty of cutting comments, but who cares? Anyone, without further ado, heres one man's list.

Chicago

Kelly Gray - Has looked really good going forward and playing defense for Sarachan, kind of shocked he isnt a regular starter for this team, as he seems like a guy that to me you really want on the field.

Colrado

Kyle Beckerman - Has gotten better every game for the Rapids, considering the big gaping hole that is our central midfield depth I think he could.

Columbus

Nobody on this team that I think deserves a callup but hasnt gotten one before.

Dallas Burn

Chris Gbandi - When you consider the void at left back, you have to consider him.

Phillip Salyer - Got burned by Razov, but other than that has been solid at outside back. Seems confident on the ball. Weakness at outside back puts him on the radar. Hasnt gotten much time but if Dallas stays with the 5-3-2 he will.

DC United

Nobody here, as those that deserve one at this time have gotten one.

Kansas City

Jimmy Conrad - Hes probably been the best defender for KC all year long, better and more consistent then Garcia. Played really well for them.

Los Angeles

Chris Albright - Dear god, did I just say that? Hes been very good for the Galaxy, the only guy on that team other than Cobi that gives it all day in day out. I think he deserves a look in the midfield for the Nats.

Metrostars

Steve Jolley - Been rock solid in central D for the Metros.

Ricardo Clark - Really looks confident on the ball and in the tackle, just needs some more experience reading the game.

Mark Lisi - Has looked really good for the Metros this year in midfield, showing a deft passing touch.

New England

Pat Noonan - Very skilled on the ball, good speed, think he might be more of a midfielder than forward he is in NE currently.

San Jose

Todd Dunivant - Really, offensively hes the best outside back in the US player pool, period. Sweet left foot and confident on the ball. The only question I have about him is can he play defense on the international level.

Brian Mullan - I really like this guy, has good quickness, is strong with good ball control, and works his tail off. Playing with more and more confidence too. Could see him competing for a right mid spot.

I like Ching from San Jose

Pierce from New England would make a great defensive midfielder with the Nats, Good defense, good vertical jump, and can distribute the ball better than armas

I also like Dunivant alot... He is so smooth
