Just like Barcelona used to be.

Let's hope they get relegated.

That would be the greatest day of my life.

But realistically, I'm hoping they finish third in their CL group so we have a chance of meeting them in the UEFA Cup. :D

it'd be even sweeter if we focking wiped the floor with their arses both home AND away with an aggregate of like 7-0!!! :D

And Heinze as well.

Sneijder's transfer came out of nowhere really and got done real quick. A lot of Ajax fans thought he would stay on with them for one more season but cash came calling and off he was.

He played in the Spanish Super Cup against Seville which they lost 5-3 at home. Schuster is going to have a lot of trouble trying to organize so many attacking options effectively.

talk about wasting money.
how can somebody that is not stupid pay 27 million euros for sneider? he is the same age as Ribery and he is not even half the player. Drenthe cost them around 14 million euros. now Robben is worth 36 million euros and the Pepe is worth more than 20 million euros. Heinze is worth 10. fock these guys have already spent 160+ million dollars this summer alone.Metzelder, Dudek, and Saviola were free. They will not win la liga this year that is for sure. thank god we got our players soon enough. they are talking about a minimum of 32 million euros for Dani Alves ( a focking right back. he was not even starting for Brazil at the last Copa America where they were playing their Bteam) Players prices are going through the roof and it is getting crazy.

well the closer to the transfer deadline the higher the prices go, because the club that has the player doesn't mind keeping him its just a matter of how much is the other club willing to pay to get the player to play for them. and usually if a transfer is done this late it is because of desperate need of the player so the price skyrockets beyond what it should usually be

When was Real Madrid ever really smart with transfers?

Reasonable spending and Real Madrid never went together well. This year proves that again.

Well the thing with Real is no matter how stupid they buy, they always have more money to spend next season.. and a lot of them..

LOL... Trust me, if Rooney doesn't heal soon and teams continue to be able to take Tevez out of his role, then SAF will be asking for Toni and Klose soon enough.

Enjoy your season... or at least your next three points.

You would think that a manager with the reputation that SAF has would actually scout a player before spending 18 million pounds on him.

And no watching him on tv in WC2006 doesn't count. Just because he was the only player on England that wasn't abysmal doesn't make him good.

We could have had him on a free six months before the world cup so we harldy scouted him, we bought him on one perfomance

the funny thing is Ferguson SUPPOSEDLY has been scouting him the past 3-4 years... apparently he was only watching him and talking to him while he was healthy... hahahahahahaha :p

i think Sir Alex knew of Hargreaves injuries in the past but was figuring it was just rather unlucky and was betting on it thinking that he might be healthy for his entire stay at ManU, little did he know he was wrong :D

Maybe we should start a thread to bet on who gets injured first: Hargreaves or Santa Cruz.

I can't wait to hear what the pundits say about Santa Cruz after he finishes the season w/5 goals and a knee injury.

with all of his injuries and everything else he is still twice better than Carrick and we don't see you guys complain about that. you guys are lucky to get Owen for that price. havn't you looked at players prices lately? 18 million pounds for Bent hahahahahahahahahahahaha. i would say that you guys got a good deal compared to the Carrick, Nani, and Anderson deals.
